i own both phones and these are the noticable differnces..

n97 mini has 250mb phone memory/ 6gb mass memory

n97 has 25mb phone memory/ 29gb mass memory

(after installing ovi maps and applications)

n97 keybord is softer and better then mini so its more comfortable to use if u type a lot.

mini is smaller and thinner

even though both have same screen technology the n97 screen has deeper blacks. it is very noticable if u keep them next to each other.

mini does not have fm transmitter

I recently got a N97mini and I am very dissapointed with it. The battery is the main problem. I charged my phone for about 9 hours overnight last night and my battery was dead before I got home from work today. It is sickening. Although I got the phone for free, I signed up for a 24 month contract because I thought I was getting a top quality product. The phone also occasionally switches itself off randomly. And, the touch screen is not very responsive, All I can say is, don't buy this phone.
