A lot of people will have ideas about who the best is and who isn't the best. I don't know if Machida is the best, but he's my favourite. There's just something special about this guy, as a fighter and a person. The humility he showed after fighting Couture proved that. Nothing would make me happier than to see him beat Jon Jones (though I also think Jones is incredible).

Lyoto actually rushed Jones and hit him with quality shots. And Machida didn't tap. Already a more soulful and brave performance than those before him. Jones is a beast.

Jones doesn't deserve that belt. With all those dirty tricks up his sleeves.(eye pokes, back of head, fish hooks etc) and his fighting style only consists of elbows and knee's. A lot of people will have ideas about who the best is and who isn't the best. I don't know if Machida is the best, but he's my favourite. There's just something special about this guy, as a fighter and a person. The humility he showed after fighting Couture proved that. Nothing would make me happier than to see him beat Jon Jones (though I also think Jones is incredible).
