I dont understand the theory behind pumping a longboard. Anything is longer (and slower, in this case) than a straight line, so how can making tiny curves be helpful in gaining speed

@THEspindoctor84 the flex you get in the board combined with the force from the trucks sort of push you out and forward, but this video doesn't really explain that very well. just think of it kind of like surfing, where the surf powers you out of your carves
