Mine has the quiter cooler from MSI which is similar to the reference cooler of the FX 5900. xD

@kawaiifreak860 Nope it isnt the reference model its an own designed model from Gainward, as you can see, there is no air intake at the back like nvidias design ;-)

Ich hatte mal eine 5900.. Mittlerweile aber neuen PC mit einer 8800 Ultra. ^^ Die ist sicher in 10 Jahren auch mal ein schönes Sammlerstück.

Aber die 58xx/59xx Karten waren damals ja leider nicht so der große Wurf, im vergleich zu Radeons 9700ern..

Ich hab ma den Vergleich gemacht FX 5800 Ultra vs. Radeon 9700 Pro und sie warn beide sozusagen gleich schnell ;) Die Radeon konnte mti Testdrive Unlimited mehr anfangen die FX mti Stalker ;)

hab selber noch eine laufen.

da gibts keine probleme mit der lautstärke!

im spiel gehts erst los (vergleichbar mit 52x CD-Laufwerk) und dann hört man eh nur den gamesound. die nebengeräusche stören mich nicht. in windows hört man garnix (= 0 db), da die karte runtergetaktet auf 300 statt 500 MHz läuft.

That card was very powerful for it's time. But also very noisy. Tell me mofaraider , do you have the problems with fan noises?

Hehe, when you like call the noise a Problem, then realy yeah i have this problem, but for me it was not a problem I have injure it.

99 euros for this? Wow, you could have gotten 8600GT for much less and have much better performance.

I was amazed of this card, the power ant the gigant cooler, many people says, this card is shitt go and buy a radeon 9700 Pro, but it isnt, the 5800 Ultra is equal to the 9700 Pro, I have tested bouth cards, (my dad had a 9700 Pro in his old Pc). Bouth cards are old but boath cards are great.
