  • the things I noticed most were the time it would take to actualy do this and most common standard for framing is a two by four stud wall,i noticed this wall is a two by eight wall.so in this state you are only going to be able to insulate engineered type walls that are specific designs of the engineer and still most applications are only two by six for most situations.I noticed a video on here that would be very suitable for such application.still I rate this worth watching+.

    Insulating an entire house seems lengthy and thusly costly due to the time to prep and instal each bottle. Maybe there is a system that could be devised.

  • We didn't measure the R-value, but another group did and it worked very well- (R-vaule of 10 with shredded paper in each bottle). I think there could be a system- even a company maybe that finds, cleans, seals and sells plastic bottle- for cheap! The major points are cost effectiveness and re-use (all that foam is expensive).
