  • very very good you sound just like on of us.

  • How do we know you're not an american just faking a british accent?

  • im an american,,and i say congrats man

  • awesome! Can you teach me how? ;)

  • Hey that was pretty good man!

  • Good except you got the word 'outright' wrong...everything else is fine.

  • not bad

  • Pretty good, just stumbled on the "outright" and "buy." Just work on that long I sound I suppose

  • Hey that's good!

  • nice! very good!

  • Very good accent lol except for a few spots 2000 points!!

  • Wow very impressive. Heard the english accent a few times but only barely and only because I was listening for it. Wonder why it's so hard for us to do the english accent without sounding stupid.

  • Its funny when british people try and have the american accent they sound southern. But good job!!

  • It was actually almost passable, some of your words sounded a little southern while others didn't, but good job

  • Pretty good but you slipped up slightly at the end of words once or twice. Still pretty good. You know who does HORRIBLE Canadian or American accents, Aussies. Lmao, they cant do it at all haha.

  • wow ur so good at an american accent if i heard you i would think youre american

  • Very good

  • even better. but you should work on the letter i because it sounds a bit off.

  • that sounds like a Texas accent with a touch of British, such as when you say buy, the U is very British ;) And along with "out-right" the way you say "right" is totally British. Otherwise good job!

  • You had a little problem with the ending of "outright." Otherwise, alright.

  • your voice is SEXYYYY

  • haha most people make us sound like hillbillies or really pretentious, but your american accent is perfect!

  • You sound like your from north texas.. From a fellow texan.

  • You're so cute <3

  • you sound like us canadians! :)

  • Americans have different accents

  • Excellent! Only slipped twice, and very minor at that ( the "oiii" sound tiptoed in). Not over-the-top hillbilly inbred or California-valley-nonsense either (like most Brits attempting the States sound).

    I give it a 9.8 out of 10.

  • You sounded just like an American.lol.

  • you're talking like your are from the south :p i like you're british accent better :)

  • IT DEPONDS ON WHERE U LIVE IN AMERICA.

THEY ARE ALOTE OF ACCENTS IN AMERICA

  • can u do a mexican accent u_u ??? ?

  • @comedynurd I think what's meant by normal accent is the accent that, say, news anchors speak in, with no particular regional phonemes or colloquialisms to speak of. The accent in this video is what sounds like a "normal" American accent to most Americans.

  • are you napoleon dynamite?

  • That was really cute, props to you. :)

  • I think you did a great job. I love imitating the many accents here in the US say Boston accent, southern (my favorite) funny thing with Southern you have the "educated" southern and the "redneck" "holler hailed" southern...try a southern hillbilly!!! THAT would be fun! :P

  • not bad not bad, i must say im impressed...indeeed :)

my god & he speaks better english (american) than me

& i am american wow ur gooood!

  • I'm british :O lolololololololololololololol........

  • "Sooo sorry if you're offended" hahahahahahha

  • Lol good.

  • That's really good :)

  • wow this is the best american accent i've seen, most attempts sound very southwestern....country like

  • I think its funny cause I'm American and I say umm a lot.

  • the american accent is so easy for us brits because its just a dumbed down version of the english accent

  • how do american accent say lots of ummm

  • holy crap

  • That's actually pretty good.

  • that was cute (:

  • OMG HERES MY BRITISH ACCENT. OH MY GAWD YOU STILL SOUND LIKE YOOR FROM LANDAN!!!!

  • @OceanW4ter "London."

  • im american, and i wouldnt be able to tell ur british

  • lol you have a really cute america accent :D

  • nice, i can do a pretty good accent

  • very good, only slightly brit at the end of, "outright"

  • Wow, it's really good.

  • damn that was good, you're not some redheaded douche blabbing about gay shit to trick me into watching his video

i wish you a happy thanksgiving

  • Pretty good.... your native English slipped in just a couple of times, but overall, good job dude! But if you ever travel in America, don't try to sound like an American... your British accent will have our local babes jumpin' your bones man. And that's the reason to travel the world, is it not? You oughta hear some of my relatives in Oklahoma and Texas speak buster... those are some fucking accents!

  • @BroadwayJosh Native english? :L Americans do speak english you know.

  • Comment removed

  • woooooowwww!!!! Ur good!

  • Really good! You might wanna take a listen to your pronunciation of "outright". Other than that, sounds really good.

  • @goldenmage British people can't say the ''eye''sound without saying ''oy''

  • @NuggetSandwich Which is weird because you completely nailed everything else. I mean, if you read that passage (with the exception of "outright"), I would have pegged you as an American without a second thought.

When I even think about attempting a British accent, I find that it would be near impossible, as you have words that are pronounced differently. Words like "schedule".

You also name things differently. I would immediately be identified simply by referring to a television as "TV".

  • wow impressive sir

  • IT is american accent

  • omg you're very good :)

  • Your amazing. I think I'm in love. <3

  • WOOOAAAAH. That's amazing!!

  • That was pretty good man.

  • american accent is so easy to pull of its not even funny

  • @archmage1982 That's interesting. I'm an American and I think an English accent is extremely easy to pull off. How often do you try an American accent and which kind?

  • @OneTrueSonicMaster more of a new york kinda accent, also good at Californian and ive tricked alot of people online into thinking im american lol, and i don't try it much, its easy because when most people sing it sounds an american kinda accent. and ive noticed that when americans usually try to do an eglish accent, they sound like a constipated butler lol

  • That was good

  • okay so you know when people try to do accents they like over exagerate them? well i feel like when brits try to do an american accent they just tone it down lol

  • Wow... that actually sounded very good. :O

  • Your accent is pretty good. Well done you.

  • Your accent is pretty good.

  • O_O that....was.....fantastic! X3 it's like you were british, then transformed into an american, then....you were british again! XD

  • That was pretty good. You could definitely pass as an American (at some points the accent started shifting to more of an Australian sounding accent, but still very well done).

  • I'm American. The word "passable" is pronunced like in the first a in "mathematics." Sorry if I don't have a good example. This is one mistake that I noticed. I can't think of any other mistakes though.

  • That was a pretty good accent ! You could pass for American if you had to.

  • You're pretty good. :)

  • U SOUND JUST LIKE US!! i wish i could speak with a British accent that well..

  • Croikey! You nailed that on the wikkett I'd wager wot wot!

  • wow very good

  • It sounds Australian.

  • holy shit you're good

  • God I want to go to England. I'm not completely sure, but do they or do they not have the right to bear arms?

  • @spottedlpelt I'm pretty sure guns are outlawed in England (which is why their police force is armed with ...sticks ((not trying to sound mean, I really can't remember the word at the moment ;p))).

  • @SilentlyFuming They're called batons. And you only have the right to bear arms over here for hunting purposes with a very specific license. And asking if you allowed to bring a gun is a bit of an odd question when considering a holiday destination :D

  • @Chewychucky ...Baton wasn't the word I was thinking of, so I must've been thinking of the wrong term. Hunting purposes, huh, so I suppose a glock is out of the question? ;p

  • "It's ROMAN slaves though. I'm just digging myself into a hole here. Alright, see you later." HAhaha I love it.

  • great job that was really good, it sounds like a indianan accent i dont know if thats a word but its where im from and you sound like people around here lol

  • we dont even have an accent???

  • @anime1lvr We do. The English don't have accents because they created the language.

  • @anime1lvr You must not know what an accent is. All Americans have accents.

  • @ComedyNurd that doesnt even make sense. maybe like hillbilly or country accent but normal talk no.

  • @anime1lvr There is no such thing as "normal talk." You have an accent. Everyone does. I know that you have an accent simply because the way in which you speak English likely differs from the way I speak English, as well as millions of other people. I'm surprised you're having this much difficulty in understanding the concept of an "accent." Would it be easier for you to understand if I were to use the word "dialect"?

  • Idiot

  • holy shit

  • I'm Californian, yay, you are so good!

  • The only word I noticed the an accent on was "outright."

  • Damn, you are good! I can say that as a American.

  • wow 100% american accent

  • Whoa, you sounded 100% american! cool

  • You've spent so long perfecting your American accent that its now better than your British accent! You silly Cunt*

*In the USA this isn't a swear word and is used in casual conversation.

  • @littlesmew Although the word is often used in casual conversation, it is still considered vulgar in the USA and Canada (which is why it's censored from the public media).

  • press 8 to hear a tazer

  • keep on pressing 1 to hear the old man from family guy snore

  • The only part I could still hear your accent was when you said, "Outright".

  • it makes you sound like ben folds lol

  • you should really try the CAlifornia surfer accent. oh yeah, that sounded 100% real too

  • Could have fooled me!

  • that is WAYYY better than your other videos! you are sooo cute! live in the US please!!! ;)

  • Videos, vee dyeah ohs.

  • that was perfect

  • its funny how british ppl always bash america but they want to speak like them and be like them

  • yeah, i don't notice this overall collective american accent like foreigners do. i hear regional accents. like, i can pinpoint if someone comes from the west coast, from down south where i'm from, from new york/jersey area, etc. but this is interesting! there are australians in my classes and their accents are now imperceptible b/c they've been over here for so long. lol

  • Yeah so you are definitely actually American pretending to be a British guy doing an American accent. But your British accent is pretty good since you've fooled all these people into believing you're actually British. Cheers.

  • word up from da Gulf Coast

  • Well done. Now do a Cockney trying to imperfectly do a southern accent.

  • That sounded like an actual American! Really good :D

  • That was a great american accent! I am american and that was a great american accent for a British person. also for your information i capitalized Britain and not america because Britain is way better than america.

  • @jeurf433 that was a bit rude. I live in america and found your comment pretty rude.

  • im american. to me, (im sure its the same with you) it seems to me like i would talk normal and everyone else talks funny lol. but you did sound pretty "normal" so id say you could easily pass as an american

  • Pretty good

  • Wow, that's a pretty good one.

  • That was great (I'm a Bostonian)

  • Perfect!

  • wow thats like perfect

  • U hit the nail on the head. And the accent was very neutral as well, like what you would hear on television. If you could get paid for doing an American accent spot on you would be a rich man.

  • wow perfect!

  • this is amazingly sounding real i have a american accent and that sounds exactly like one!!!

  • slipped twice. but it was way better than most americans.

  • perfict

  • DUDE. THIS GUY IS GOOD. ROFL.

  • Im american from Texas, and that was spot on to me. It sounds like it was an american accent with a southern tone to my ears. I wouldnt be able to tell your british if I hadn't known. nice job bro

  • something is off...maybe your tone but it was good :)

  • Really good:) Can't hear anything wrong with the American accent, great job.

  • thats a good accent of them foreigners

  • Dude... That was amazingly accurate! You're awesome!

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

  • your american accent is perfect!

  • can all english people do this? not racist just wondering

  • Nice

  • I'm Texan, are you, too? :) You sound like me. You first slipped up on the word "time" (you said "tahm"), and then you really slipped up on your British accent on the "I'm still a little bit stuffy, but not as bad" part, but overall pretty good. Just remember, Brits would probably say "I'm still a bit stuffy, but not as much as before". Was this for an acting class? And sheesh, do we Texans really have that much of an accent? X)

  • Idk what you guys are going on about... There isnt discernable difference between most regional american accents.

Eitherway you sound like me and I moved to Chicago from blighty four years ago :)!

  • That was really good! I only noticed one word that sounded british at all. And you didn't over do it on your r's like most try to do. Awesome. :)

  • that was pretty good :D

  • wow that was REALLY good

  • holy srap dude that was freakin awesome(: great job

  • That was AMAZING! As myself being an American I can say this was a VERY, VERY impressive American accent. It sounded 100% real!! Oh, and just for a little info: in America we actually have MANY MANY MANY different accents! You spoke in the Midwestern accent, which is thought to be the "true" American accent. It is the accent required to be learned and spoken by all newscasters in America. Some other accents for you to try are "Texan", "Chicagoian", "New Yorker", "Boston", "Californian (Surfer)".

  • @hasaraka wow screw you. not all californians are surfers... nobody likes to be stereotyped like that, and i bet you don't either, so don't do it to other people.

  • @starliteinfernal All he said was that it's a type of dialect and was suggesting he try it, didn't say every californian has it (hence the parenthesis)... Lol and how is being called a surfer even offensive?

  • @jibblejubs Parenthesis are used to clarify or elaborate on something, not whatever you think it is. So he's basically saying, "californians, (who of course, sound like surfers)." I'm a californian, and I don't surf, or have an accent, so i find this pretty offensive. If he had said "Texan (Cowboys)" I'm sure he wouldve pissed off some Texans too. And of course I'm offended, because I was just stereotyped. People get offended when they get stereotyped, because they're being judged unfairly.

  • @hasaraka umm how about new orleans?

  • Hey that wasn't bad. Don't listen to the asshole below me, he's just trollin'.

  • this is crap. just an fyi there are many different accents depending on what part of america your from. you just sound like some douche trying to speak with out a douche accent. try harder.

  • @420burton2 The funny thing is he is american, so you are the "douche" in this situation.

  • Okay, so I commented on your two other videos that you made before this one. And, I think that you're amazing at doing an american accent. You know how to pronounce the vowels very well (especially for a brit) and are very good at the consonants. I think if you want to master the american accent you should try to work on the tone of voice. Like, how to fluctuate and stuff. I might just be saying this because I'm Canadian and I heard that we "sing" our words...so..yeah. But over all, good job!!!

  • Omg its so weird to hear our country accent because we hear it everyday we don't realize we have one but we do XD american accents i can imagine to be some what easy good job ^-^

  • You sound more American then my neighbors! ... Oh wait.. they are illegally in the U.S.A Dangit!

  • the ending was the best part haha

  • Lol holy shit that is spot on! i would not be able to guess you're british if you came up to me and talked like that

  • :) hey not bad, I heard a bit of British, but other than that, that's pretty good

  • Sound like any ol' guy in the US! and their r so many diff accent in the us, theirs the south, where it's a normal accent, (well to me) and theirs the more Midwest, and the NY and the new jersey one, so I think it was perfect!!

  • "you toob" that's American, try "you choob"

  • That was really good! You sounded like you could be my next-door neighbor. It's not even the generic American accent, i could peg you from being from a definite region of the US. Remember to use the British accent when you're trying to pick up American girls though, XD

  • Very good

  • dont try to have an american accent! British accents are so much cooler!!!!

  • @LookLoveShoot True dat, homie! The American accent was excellent, but BECAUSE it was excellent, my interest in the video kinda plummeted. Americans wanna hear some British English!

  • WOW! GOOD JOB! You sound like you were born and raised next door.

Actually, you sound more American than the neighbors next door.
