The real culprit is the oil future speculators in New York and in Europe who trade back and forth without receiving a product, in order to make a profit.

Its the same group of people who lobby the Congress with huge sums of campaign money and who also fund these ads

The free market is at work. SUV's are now considered what they are, gas gUzZlers, and people are acting responsibly and finding alternatives like public transportation, purchasing hybrids and using a bicycle. Wow! (I hope nobody is advocating government regulation and intervention.) If people do this across the board, it will drop the demand for gas and thus reduce the price! Isn't the free market wonderful?! Nancy Pelosi should be proud of her constituency!
