  • Nice awesome paint job man!!! I m debating between getting the mosberg 930 vs an AR15 style gun (likely M&P15)... What do you think is a better home def gun? A better SHTF gun? I know in your other video you own both guns.. Keep up the awesome vids !!

  • Great video!! Very to the point... no B.S. just the facts! So happens that I had my Mossberg 930SPX behind our bar and found that during home improvement some plaster dust had gotten on the barrel and front sight. The plaster dust drew moisture and left surface rust (not pitted). I am going to refinish and I like what I saw in the video. I have used Duracoat with good success on AR-15 builds but will try Cerakoat. FYI, I have two "Golden Rod" heaters in my safegun and it keeps moisture out.

  • Great video. Your 930 looks great! Good job.

  • Looks factory, which means very good job.

  • Looks great!

  • That is one fine shotgun, nice work, Leo. One question, the rear ghost ring sight mounted on the picatinny rail, what is it and where can I buy one? Thanks, and give up the good work...

  • looks great bro! is ceracoat better than duracoat?

  • @deadgameguns

In my personal opinion with both yes cerakote air dry is better than duracoat.

  • umm its not my color but it looks awesome..

  • looks great

  • Looks awesome, how has it held it?

  • @Pinggong272

Its held good so far. Definitely better than the original finish on the gun. Its a very tough product.

  • Use dissicant for your safe.

  • What about IR reflection???? During WROL, you need anti-thermal and IR paint. IF you can get it.

  • Great video.. I was looking to do something similar to my 500. And yes the humidity here n FL is deadly..

  • That is such a nice shot gun i love the OD green awesome video :)

  • lov the rear sight!!

  • Very Nice! I have a 930SPX and it is a bit dinged-up... have been thinking of doing a Desert Camo job on it.

  • the contrast between the olive and the black looks excellent.

  • I have one of these, yours looks great! Plz. let us know how it holds up.

  • rem 870 express is my shotty

  • seriously you did a great job. awesome shotgun

  • very nice

  • I dig that green. It is the same color Wilson Combat used to use for their green armor tuff before they changed it. Why does your cerakote "OD Green" look more green than the cerakote "OD Green" I have seen in other videos around youtube?

  • @SIXandSIXTY

In the video it looks a bit lighter than what it actually is. In a shade darker. Not as bright but the camera setting makes it look a bit brighter. Definitely one of my favorite tacticool colors.

  • @zaldivarbigboy got it, thanks for the clarification

  • Hey Leo

What is it that you got attatched to the forend stock, and who makes it?

  • @drummerbear68

Its a Magpul AFG and you have to customize your for-end with a rail that the AFG goes on.

  • Is this a good shot gun for 3-gun comp?

  • @MyNameIsMrSwifty

Mam frankly I would say it might be good as a starter but most semi's at competitions are either benelis or remington. So if I were you I would start with either one of those.

  • cool!!

  • to me: home defense = fascist offense.

  • @Dmajorproductions by which i mean this is why i would buy it.

  • @Dmajorproductions

Took me a while But I got it. In part cause you cleared it up.

  • @zaldivarbigboy my bad :P fascism=bad

  • That's nice...

  • Hi there, great finish, just curious, how did you install the magpul foregrip?

  • BEAUTIFUL! Great job man, any advise on prep work?

  • @lafayette512

Thanks for the comment. As for as the advice for prep is don't rush it. Take you time and sand everything down with some 400 grit sandpaper, if possible wash the item after sanding with some soapy water and wipe dry with a microfiber cloth. Then spray the all the surfaces to be painted with Acetone after hanging for pain to eliminate any remaining oil or finger prints,

The last part is the simplest just spray many light coats for the best results. Hope this helps.

  • Ñó, esta bonita la escopeta!!!!

  • @gumarro72

    Thanks.

  • Wow, you have some great looking video editing! WHat editing software do you use? The shotgun looks awesome too. OD green is actually my favorite tactical color. I know desert tan is popular right now but I have always liked OD green for all occasions. Keep up the good work! I subbed.

  • @mixflip

Hey mixflip. The software i use is from cyberlink powerdirector 9 and you can buy it for 69.99 right from their website or get it as a torrent from many sharing sights. I love how simple it is and how much it lets you improve the video quality.

As far as the color I love the green as much as I love the Desert Tan and my next job is going to be on a buddy of mine's Tristar Pump Shotgun. Actually the same shotgun I review a few years ago. I'll post how that turns out. Thanks for subbing

  • Did you prep the surface? If you sandblast and then cerakote c, it will last a long time.

  • Very nice man.

  • @NIKON777

    Thanks NIKON777.

  • Looks good, makes me want to break out the coyote tan on my 930.

  • @G0neTomorrow

Come on man join the crowd of the non typical 930 SPX. I have not seen a 930 SPX in any other color than the normal black that is what motivated me to do mine. If you decide to re coat yours please give the Cerakote c a try. you won't regret it.

  • That looks great. I wouldn't have imagined it in OD green, you know flat dark earth has been so popular. I like it!

  • @juanriv01

Hey juan. How are you my friend. I like the flat dark earth and was going to use that to coat the other guns I coated but when I went to Brownells they didn't have the Flat dark earth in stock so I had to go with the OD Green and I truly love it.

  • You really have a great channel here with some awsome content. Keep up the good work and congrats on the partnership.

  • @TheDiceAreLoaded

Thanks. I try share my knowledge with others as all of us firearms guys here do. and about the partnership I wish. They deny the partnership by gave me a Share Revenue through advertisement. Its better than nothing but definitely no partnership. I would need 1000's of subs to get partner.
