  • Holy shit, i remember this game on DK 64 as a bonus game along with donkey kong.

  • classico !

  • If his rocket only has enough fuel to go that high, then why not just use his jetpac? Or empty the infinite fuel from it to the rocket?

  • I think you've put a bit too much thought into this!

  • Not really.

    It was only 2 lines.

  • Its probably a different type of fuel.....

  • The glory of games like these is that you can make of it whatever you want. It can be some guy who just happened to crash on the moon, some guy fighting off the invading aliens from earth, or something completely random.

  • One of my first Spec games, I agree with your comments, it's a classic for purely nostalgic reasons. The game itself is way too repetative.

  • My first game I ever played on any computer :D I was about 6y old or something =)

  • It look bluddy tricky!!, wonder how many people have actually completed this?.

How's about reviewing "Cisco Heat" on the C64 please? :), it's such a sh*t version of the game, but srill make a funny review!!.

  • This game was very good, but our reviewer was not in his days :P

I remember Cisco Heat on the Amiga, nice game

  • I always remember getting the jetman stood on the top right platform facing right, and putting a weight on the fire key and leaving the game on for days to see how high the score would go,unfortunatley the speccy melted :/

  • This game is ace, my favourite for the spectrum ever, but as you say, that has a lot to do with nostalgia.

And those cheap footballs have always been referred to by myself as a '10 bob swerver', though some do call it a 'penny floater', but not moi.

  • Many a wet Sunday was spent playing this with my sister for hours and hours until the arguments erupted probably because she was better than me. l loved it when he dies and he made the "fart" noise.

  • I got the game. LOL When I was a kid I couldn't pass the flying saucer discs, but now, on the first try, I won the whole game (it repeats at the end, going back to the first level). I saved it into a RZX file.

  • Cheers mate, nostalgia def has the best of me. But as pocketmego has said, the xbox live arcade version is immense. Just fooking hard!

  • I forgot to mention there is an AMAZING version of this on Xbox Live Arcade. Great stuff.

  • Yeah, its well frigging hard though! You must have to drop a few tabs of acid to be able to see through the colours and lights and things!

  • Where did you get the game? I think it's not available at The World Spectrum (distribution denied...).

This was one of my favorite ZX Spectrum game.

  • There are sites out there that have it .... you just got to look a little harder on Google.

  • @pedroac Microsoft bought out Ultimate... hence it's being sat on or rereleased on their kit.. Bloody annoying...

  • This game IS pure Spectrum GREATNESS!

  • Is quite a good game despite looking pretty hard to get into :).

  • First Spectrum game I ever played. Maybe the first ever gane. Yeah, classic. Love it.
