Well done! I must subscribe!! I even learned a lot, and I have been a Cohen follower for decades. I'd give anything to spend a couple of hours playing music with Leonard, it's the No.1 dream for myself personally -- although my dream for everybody is for this world to be as wonderful as Leonard's music! That to me would be true harmony.

I understand your point and. in fact, used "montage" in a similar effort, "Anjani Birthday Montage." In this case, however, I used "pastiche" intentionally. It's a bit of an inside joke - my blog's description is "A pastiche of posts, featuring song, dance, snappy chatter plus notes on prose, poesy, love, lust, life, and beyond.

I found you 40 years ago, as a melancholy sixteen-yr-old, and have loved your songs ever since. I never understood why they were considered so depressing - I felt uplifted and incredibly warmed to know I wasn't alone! And they made me laugh sometimes! I agree about your good looks; at 75 you are still one beautiful man. 'We are ugly but we have the music;' great line but I couldn't agree... Wonderful celebration and pictures. The first time I heard LC was 1969 and from that day he is my absolute favorite. I have been on 3 concert with him and the last in okt. 2008 in Stockholm and he made a magic concert. A life memory. He is brilliant poet, singer and person. We have all something to learn from him. ..his kindness and his humility. Thanks!
