So fucking stupid..... Guia race joins all European Touring car racing to abandon Group A racing.... instead they turn to super Touring modification... which is basically M3 that looks like a normal road car...but thats it...everything else is pure oversized brakes and super power NA motor.... and super lightweight... and that they impose a 200KG weight penalty to purposely make it uncompetitive......
WTF?? They were DTM cars before they switch over to nowadays with even more agressive body and chassis mods... as well as V8 powers... but back in early 90's they were in fact 2.5L displacement limit 4 or 6 cyl. engine...
So unfair, why they don't allow GTR race without any weight penalization, instead of this make GTR run with DTM cars just for overrall class, then put those standard GR.A cars in another independent class. In fact as i know, the reason of banning Gr.A was the fault of domination of "Godzilla".
because GTR belongs to japan group they dont have weight penality like DTM , and besides GTR race-ready is heavy already even toug they stripp down to 1260 kg not inclucde driver , M3 DTM ( 350 hp 950 kg not inclucded driver and lead , ) 190 e ( 350hp 1100 kg not included driver and lead , macau track has half mountai and half road track so its not easy to get balance setting , so the weight and the 600hp , big ass turbo lag , handling , and hugh gas consumtion are big problem
ohh i didnt know gtr has extra lead on it i m sorry , like micheal said cause dtm side wants a fair race or else they wont come again .and no GTR has dominated most of the heavy event in 90's i wont say this is a fair match cause dtm car and 190e in the are lighter than gtr , remember gtr has 600hp it drinlk gas like quick . and extra weight running 10 rounds , he has no chance to use all horsepower . my guess is he has to go very easy on pedal even on straight road .

I believe this, but not because it's dominating, i think is just because it is AWD, like Audi A4 in STW, lately be restricted to race with FF dirve.
In fact AWD car is not really belong as TC, that's why other manufacturers has always against his opponents try to have absolute advantage with this "unfair' technology. Not only make restriction, even banned this cars from track.

The M3 Evo and the 190 Evo 2 were Group A cars, too. But the 190 was never run in the ATCC if I remember correctly.

But i still don't understand, even GTR is powerful, but Group A is always Group A.
Could you confirm, if really as Michael said, GTR are penalized by organizers, is it real?
Because i still can't believe, GR.A cars could never possibly facing DTM in any conditions, isn't it?
