ok, to be honest, at first I cringed- one of my all-time favorite artists remixed in a style I mostly hate*. BUT! I try to be open-minded and so I gave it a listen, cause there's been some dubstep tracks I liked. This track 'translates' nicely into dubstep and is well done! I like it, and can't really think of anything I'd do differently ...well, if I had the resources/skills to do so, of course

*someone told me that the particular variety of dubstep I hate the most is called 'bro-step' I think

Badass tune! Listening on my Sony MDR-XB700's (the only size you need lol) they do the track justice. The rolling deep wub works beautifully against the gentle click of the classic snooker ball sample. The occasional reflection to the original works nicely against your own enhanced variations, always dragging back to the man focus...bass! The remix grasps the intensity of the of the original but draws it out into a much grittier, broody mood. Cracking tune mate, nice work!!!

OK maybe it is dubstep, it has the wub wubs and the wah wahs. I think the problem is that this track sounds muffled and shit. It just a lame remix. Too many messy effects and filters used on the samples have made it sound horribly muffled.
