Why are we talking about WoW? WoW original and BC were amazing games. The creator of those has gone over to the Diablo team in Blizzard to work on D3. Ghostrider made Wrath and Cata, just be glad he didn't go to work on D3 instead. Diablo 3 will be worth the wait. If you want them to rush, it's going to be even worse than Diablo 2 is currently.

at the blizzcon they accounced that in 2010 2 new games will be published, and that is WoW: Cataclysm and Starcraft 2. So I guess about 2011 for D3 to come out.
I realize especially with blizzard the game may be a long way off but this stuff seems way too developed to take out now. I actually like the idea of special death animations just not getting 1 shot. And I don't see why I got 2 thumbs down? Many people played D2 because of the hardcore mode I can assure you of that.
