  • Very creative. I never would've come up with this combination.

  • This is amazing... I'm laughing at hearing Andy Griffith's happy whistlin' tune, seeing Barney's hilarious (one of my favorite actors, Don Knotts) and tapping my feet with Beyoncé.

  • beyonce is just jealous of barney XDD

  • @MrMalizeka you have got to be kidding me.

its the opening theme to The Andy Griffith Show. Ask your grandparents, they probably watched it

    kids these days...

  • @silkyz1337 Hey, man. Don't judge people based on age. You don't even know how old that guy is. My mom didn't know about Andy Griffith and she's 48.

  • im 15 and i love this show!!!

  • why are there so many ostriches? The brochure said there'd only be a few orifices. This is a terrible Vacation.

    Eye-Bugging

    Tears of Joy

  • This shit is fuckin funny!!!!

  • this is the most bazaar mash up ever. Awesome.

  • at from 0:50 to 0:59 it looks like andy is watching those SiNgLe LaDiEsS lol

  • I heard something like this at Madison Square Garden earlier this week. An organization called Youth About Business took a group of kids there, as well as Six Flags, Duetche Bank, the Bank of Tokyo, Time Square, Columbia University, and other places in New York City. A select few even got to go to the floor of the New York Stock Exchange. I love this song!!!!

  • LMAO

  • XD I had no idea how similar these are! Oh my gosh, that's amazing!

  • This Was Done so amazingly!! it is so cool!!!!

  • lol best mashup EVAR!!! @ 0:57 the guy's smile is really creepy tho, 0_o...

  • Best part 1:47 to 1:51

  • nobrain.dk song LOL

  • I actually find this version of Single Ladies 100 times better than the real version! And this version does not ruin the original Andy Griffith theme song nor the original Andy Griffith Show itself in any way!

  • LOL

  • It's actually a 3-way mashup...Andy Griffith + Beyoncé + Bob Fosse.

  • Really, Single Ladies is the most boring song ever. The lyrics just repeat and repeat and most of them were just "oh-oh-oh" to begin with. It really does work better as the rhythm section for another song. You'd think Beyoncé could afford to hire a lyricist.

  • this is hot!!!

  • Hahahaha love it. =)

  • U ARE THE BESTTTTTT!!!!

  • DUDE!!!!

    brilliant LOL

  • Wow, I can't believe this mashup. Too too good. xD

  • All the single ladies got Andy polishing his gun at :20!

    LOL!

  • Too bad Earl Hagen isn't alive to hear this..

    he wrote the mayberry theme..

I think its terrific and I think he would love it...

  • anudder wunderful won from partyben11010101010

  • Excellent editing!

  • Lol

  • You did a very good job with this! <3

  • Mad props...I love it. I strive for this kind of video when i do mine.

  • Sorry, but I don't get the connection.

  • Connection? It's a mashup, it doesn't need a connection. just art you may like it you may not all up to you.

  • that's brilliant.

  • GREAT!

  • oh dayum! barney gettin up in that shit

  • RIP Don Knotts.

  • Haha, why?

  • its my hometown,my hometown,mayberrrrrryyyy

  • Ahahaha oh wow

  • @SonicZeroX

ooh andy and barnaey and opie have a crush on beyondce...

  • Excellent work! How you originally got the idea of combining this song with that TV show could only be divined from the "Pop Culture God" -- but it's brilliant! It reminds me of "The Synchronicity" -- that is, when they put Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" together with "The Wizard Of Oz" -- although instead of the synchronicity of music to picture, this is synchronicity of one song atop another. Well done.

  • wheres the link to download this?! love it

  • I am a huge fan of seemingly random music mashups. This is fantastic!

  • OMG great!!!

  • This is amazing.

  • it gos together xD

  • That fits together unusually well?!?!?!?!?!

  • Uuuh what? It's a mashup, meaning they took the theme song and used ti as music for the song. thats all...

  • The Andy Griffith Show took place in Mayberry, you dolt.

  • Epic mashup. MP3 plz?

  • Very clever! ...and funny.

  • Brilliant.

Partyben, you've got one hell of an ear.

  • most bizarre mashup i've ever heard. it's awkward to see 3 girls dancing to a comedy theme song lol. but great job!

  • hmmmmmmm... surprisingly catchy! nice job (:

  • This is actually kind of hot, would make a nice remix.

  • i really like this...a lot! i don't get why people have to take offense at videos like this. if you don't like it don't watch it. it's youtube and it's just supposed to be funny.

  • Best mashup ever!

  • Brilliant mix - very original and refreshing idea that works IMHO. Not sure why the Haters hate it so much? Could they be taking things too seriously?

  • @103CROWN They are. Cause the internet is Serious Business!

  • HA! LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!

  • this is greatness...creative mashup...ignore the haters

  • I've got to ask... whoever created this, is 1:46 a subliminal sexual message?

If not... then I'll forget about it. haha. come on, he's polishing his gun for Beyonce!

  • lol, I thought the same thing

  • Such an epic fail... Wow, there's an added whistle, and they're both in black and white, dur. It's sad that a classic show such as The Andy Griffith Show is getting reduced to a song which will be forgotten in a year. Worst mash-up ever.

  • @baron3928 you are saying this video will be forgotten in a year? the song has been on t.v., radio, internet, all other parody mash up venues for well over a year now.

the only thing that will be forgotten in a year is you my friend, well that isnt true, it will be even sooner than a year, but whatever, more like a couple of hours or something.

  • this is funny as hell! thanks, love it! my dad watches andy griffith everyday and he even knows who beyonce is! wonder what he would say!

  • what made u do this its awesome

  • thats crazy...it's as if they got the beat from... na

  • Amazing. Brilliant. :D

  • Sounds good together.

  • do what now?

  • @nadiaLT92 Not to offend you. . . Well yes, exactly to offend you. People like you need to shush their mouths and think: What The Hell does God and the World's state of morality have to do with this song? You're not funny, not correct, and NOT Simon Cowell, so stop trying to be with your over-exaggerated criticism.

  • First off I wasn't trying to be funny in any way. I was simply stating my opinion of this video. Am I to be denied the right to practice freedom of speech? If so then who gave you the authority to take away my right of opinion? Your ignorance does not offend me.

  • honestly -- best comment EVER

  • @nadiaLT92 god is not real, and he was he would approve of this

  • @luigithekid You are so late and your attempts at trolling is an epic fail dear... Good day to you!

  • scarily good

  • This is so awesome thank you for Sharing this video

  • Maybe Beyonce got the idea for her song from the theme of the show. Maybe thats why they fit togther so welll.lol.

  • how did he replace the music with the Andy Griffin theme song?

  • Who the fuck thinks up this kind of stuff? Lol, this is the most random thing that I have ever seen on youtube. And it works! This just made my day.

  • They fit together a little too perfectly.

  • This is amazing!

  • lol brilliant

  • wow...>.>

  • awesome!

  • hahhha wow

  • meh, it sort of goes together

  • AWESOME!

    its so catchy

  • I'ma let you finish, but Barney Fife had one of the best videos of all time! BEST OF ALL TIME!

  • lmao!! This is awesome!!! 5 stars! Amazing!

  • Loved it!

  • BRILLIANT!!!

  • Scarey how well these two tunes fit this way! Great video mashup as well!

  • not too bad. funny in some spots, but other mayberry images don't make as much sense.

  • Totally awesome! Lol!

  • Where's Aunt Bea?

  • Janet Jackson's recent video for "Rock With You" is a one shot with a lot more people and two different rooms and a hallway shot.

Thanks for posting this, it's pretty kickass!

  • This is cool!!!

  • i love this!

  • Is this the same Beyonce video that Kayne West raved about when he took the mic from Taylor Swift during that awards show? If it is, I'm not clear why he described it as being one of the greatest videos of all time.

  • @cheezencrackers The critical acclaim for the video was based on it being a single continuous cut, so unlike most music videos, it was more like a live dance performance with major choreography than a bunch of vignettes tied together by the song.

  • Thanks for clarifying. I can certainly see why that is interesting, but not why it is acclaimed. Continuous live dance performances are done every day on thousands of stages around the world. . . and oftentimes with more performers. Or to compare her video to something closer to its genre, it's the same as they did thousands of times in musicals from the 30s and 40s.

  • Yeah, it's weird that it's considered innovative, but I guess it's arguably new to the medium in the context of the current era.

  • Well put. I would respectfully suggest it's not new to the medium, rather, it's new to the audience. Which is why it's considered innovative. I would further suggest that the primary audience has very little knowledge of 1) the past/history/other eras and 2) other media as it applies to music and dance. That's not to suggest that the primary audience is slow or uneducated. It implies they are narrow-minded and apathetic.

  • The ideal outcome to me, then, is that the original Beyonce video would result in, for at least a few viewers, and expanded awareness of that history and dance as an art form in general.

Something of the form, "Wow, I liked that a lot, I want to see more!" followed by some self-motivated research.

  • @cheezencrackers. HUH???
