i like fighting games like this....but this is the only true fighting game that i have found on the NES. I some games like double dragon and karate kid let you fight a 2nd player but thats kinda cheap.

does anyone know another true fighting game on NES?

There were some good hacks of Street Fighter 2 Turbo, but I've found corrupted roms of these. Worked better on real NES.

yeah i tried getting some roms before and it was so confusing and nothing worked and it turns out you cant get all the games......so i just have the real games.

you can buy a used NES or a new NES clone for less than $20. there is a handheld one that i thought about getting but i bet it goes through batteries realllllyyyy fast, like that sega game gear i had 15 years ago

Graphics were not good (even for NES) and the Turtles don't even use their weapons and the controls were stiff too (controls were much worse in the Genesis version)! I guess this version of Tornament Fighters was marketed towards little kids to cut down on the violence and also the characters look like they're in their cartoon features while the other consoles had their characters look simular to their Mirage Comics form (if you look at the Turtles' appearance as well as Shredder)!

I did'nt knock on the music (its actually great because Konami games always has nice music and the only good ting about this game), but I'm sorry but IMO, everything else sucks. You are just an ass in other people's opinion who actually played games like these.

Actually this version is for more mature players cause moves can be hard to perform and snes version is for kids.

hehe I just noticed this game has some of the same sound effects as Zen: Intergalactic Ninja. Not surprising though, as they're both Konami and were released only a year apart.
