Lastly. I am now a single dad with primary care and residence of my two boys. No CS paid by mom, no child tax benefit, mom still gets that money from the government who refuses to see me as the primary care giver.

I concur with this vid. Some of us instituted what we call the "Wall Of Silence" because we got tired of trying to talk to these women about their wicked ways. Our attention should be our own gender and let the young boys know about the rights and wrongs of women. At 43yrs on this planet it took me 41 of them to realize that we need to teach our boys about this stuff and stop catering to women because we "want some"!

Thank you for the wake up call. I am suffering through an college English course where the reading has consisted largely of man-bashing drivel. I have not taken it lying down, however. Quite the opposite, I respond by calling it as I see it and arguing on behalf of the other males in my class. I hope that they will be emboldened by what I say and speak up, but it seems they are too concerned with the very problems mentioned here. Keep fighting the good fight, if not for men then just for sanity.

I agree with you. All we can do, for those of us married, it teach our sons not to be chivalrists or p-hounds. And if we start on them young, we can have a real impact. We can also mentor younger men and challenge them to think and look ahead. It is not a cure all, not even a real fix it, but it is better than nothing.

I don't think it's logical to take a national average and apply it to two specific individuals. The chances of failure isn't dependent upon how others' marriages were but in how my spouse and I handle it. So considering I don't have a spouse yet, no one can determine what the odds are of failure.

The reason I don't spend as many hours in a doctors surgery as women are many, chief among which are that I am too busy. That I am not as neurotic as the average female and number one...I don't feel copmfortable in surroundings so obviously geared towards women where every poster on the wall screams that male sickness does not matter. So, why should I pay for a doctor who does not give a rats ass whether I live or die? So, when I went through 7 years of abuse, I self treated. Now I shout loud!

I think the answer to your question is clear. Medicines are developed based on available technology and sometimes happenstance, as in Viagra which was stumbled on when developing blood pressure meds.
There are very few "cures" available for anything. Especially normal functions of age like menopause, which isn't even a disease.
Notwithstanding that, the numbers on med research money are a matter of public record.

Point well taken. Another explanation for the medical research money might be that women are more likely to participate in trials because they go to the dr more often than men.
I would also like to point out, that while menopause is a normal function of age - so is inability to maintain an erection.

What is missing today is what the OP identified as camradere. There are as many, if not more, men behaving to get their weekly piece of skin, than behaving like the men they want to be remembered as. All the while, they cement into their own character who they really are by the repeated behaviors of 'doing what you have to' to get laid.
