This is black metal. If you were comparing metal to rap, the most appropriate type of metal to use would be power metal. It stays closest to the roots of "classic" metal such as Iron Maiden. Using clean vocals and guitar heroics with more positive lyrics.

There are a lot of things that Guitarist have to think about. You got syncopated rhythms, what key the song is in, timing, picking patterns. They have to be in time with the drums and the bass, they have to get all the instruments in the mix so you can hear it. They have effects pedals they have to worry about. Was anyone else more interested in the beats of the rap songs used, than the actual rapper? When you used those examples to demonstrate why rap beats are musically better than metal, you forget to include almost no rapper writes their own beats. Usually, whenever you hear a good piano beat in the background, or a good sax solo, or a good ANYTHING in a rap beat, its "sampled". The guitarist from Necrophagist is an alumnus of one of the biggest music univ. in Europe btw.
To prove my point on the lyrical issue, look up the lyrics for the song "Father" by "Manowar". Nothing satanic or anything about them, they're pretty fucking beautiful, especially when being sung and even more so in the Polish version of the song. And the vocals don't scream.
Also, using one Metal song to try to prove your point on the lyrical style is just ignorant. Not all Metal screams, and a very small amount of it has Satanic symbolism in the lyrics and style, some do mostly for commercial purposes. So what? There are a lot of things that Guitarist have to think about. You got syncopated rhythms, what key the song is in, timing, picking patterns. They have to be in time with the drums and the bass, they have to get all the instruments in the mix so you can hear it. They have effects pedals they have to worry about. Not a flute, its called a "sine wave", and its common in west cost songs. Was anyone else more interested in the beats of the rap songs used, than the actual rapper? When you used those examples to demonstrate why rap beats are musically better than metal, you forget to include almost no rapper writes their own beats. Usually, whenever you hear a good piano beat in the background, or a good sax solo, or a good ANYTHING in a rap beat, its "sampled". I hadn't a clue what the metal music was gonna be about. Then i guessed what the rap lyrics were going to be about: "colour of skin, drugs and the police" i said to myself. Wonder if that says anything about real lyrical skills, huh :P

Ok, i consider myself rocker, i love some of the different "flavors" of metal and rock, and i think the hip hop sucks... But Is unfair because you choosed really shitty "metal" that even rockers think is shit... And on the other side you choosed good rap songs; Put in versus good metal vs good rap. Choose good bands, youtube is full of good songs and i think some of them even may like you
