@arrogantbastardale I couldn't have said it better myself. When ppl call something a 'girly' beer, I understand that what they mean is that it's a gateway beer, or a nube beer or maybe even a pansy beer. It's no wonder that women are nubes to the world of craft beer seeing that sales and marketing have been focused solely on males for quite awhile. It's become even somewhat of a cultural stigma that women should drink sweet pink drinks and leave beer for the men folk. I personally see it as an

I've been wanting to give this one a try for the longest. I love the taste of wood in beer, especially the sour-barrel aged beers like Rodenbach's Grand Cru, anything sour from Russian River, and beers like the Duchesse De Bourgogne. I'll give this one a try and look for the wood notes. I just wish I had some palo santo wood to chew on before I try this beer.

@beernoob I'm pretty excited to see my friends getting into craft brew too! There's nothing gender specific about liking to drink stuff that tastes awesome, so I'm just hoping to keep promoting the craft beer movement.

@WinoBeeroFoodo I also never understood the idea that beer is "manly". There is nothing specifically "manly" about having an advanced pallet, and that is all that is required to appreciate craft beer. For centuries women made beer, not men. I read an article on a beer website that women are the future of craft beer. The more women that are involved, the stronger the industry will become. Your youtube chan plays a part in that I think. Anyway, cheers and keep doing reviews please!

@WinoBeeroFoodo If you look at some of your first videos, you will see that you have improved an amazing amount. I think you are doing a great job. Editing is yet another skill to master in the quest for video excellence ;) I hope you can get back to making videos regularly once you get settled down again.

I havent had this yet but everyone says it's the best DFH beer out there. I love their more hoppy stuff like the 60 and 90 minute IPAs.

Great setting! Fortunately the wind was blowing in the correct direction!

@ChadzBeerReviews I'm a big fan of their 90 minute especially. They get a lot of crap from a lot of people for being too extreme or "one trick pony", but they put out a huge range of beers that reach so many different palates. I have a ton of respect for Dogfish.

This is a good beer, not ideal for out on the water haha but it does have this great woody earthy flavor that is a good complement to the raisin/fig flavors in the beer.

This is a great beer. When a friend of mine turned 21, I got him some of this and being none-the-weiser, he used 2 bottles to play beer pong. He said never again would he use anything other than cheap beer to play drinking games. haha.
