I worked really hard to put together a flat black z06 but both me and customer went bankrupt about the same time. However we ended up consulting on a Audi R8 which was nice. I'm really glad to see these vettes "murdered" in real life. Beautiful car!
That seems more like matte black rather than straight flat black. I'm not a fan of "flat-black". I like matte black more, just that ever so slight hint of shine is nice.
@AdrenalineJunky17 sorry for the last responce but no it's not. flat is what it says "flat" my Nova is Painted "Satin Black" it has a Low Gloss. just check out your local paint store for house paint......you'll see
@TexasNova I know paint dude! I have been painting for almost 5 years now! Pretty much the only difference between Satin and Flat is the Clear Coat! Flat practically has no clear coat and Satin does! I painted my 99 Z28 Camaro myself in college! Check out my vids, the walkaround vid is before the repaint, then check out my re painted video of after I finished it! I want to get a WS.6 T/A and paint it Flat Black with black wheels, smoked windows, and smoked lights!
C'mon guys, he swapped out the Z06's LS7 motor for the LSX motor for the stronger parts. While it says, "Z06" on the sides, this car's angry heart is an LSX. Love the work on the motor and that flatblack paint scheme is ridonkulous.
To bad this is not a Corvette C6 Z06, those have 7.0 liter V8s. This has a 5.3 liter out of a base model chevy truck. Good power number thought and I love the color. Wish you would have modded the factory 7.0 liter.
