totally incorrect procedure if you dont explain the sequence correctly and how to do it people will get hurt

to minimize the mess, use about 18 inches of plastic tube, with one end pressed over the rounded part of the bleeder valve, and the other end stuck in a glass jar. this collects the fluid you bleed (so the cleanup is minimized), and lets you see how much fluid you've bled.
