  • very leftist republican thats good

  • Why does ron paul support wikileaks?

They are illuminati puppets. It's perfect.

the media is garbage so they bring in wikileaks as if they are the counter journalism we need to get away from the bought media.

    it is a lie.

    /watch?v=pycHfoCW7AU

    watch.

  • @Maziyar Hehe....The Goverment are geniuses, they get you conspirace theorist to belive anything they want.

  • Comment removed

  • @Maziyar You also know they leaked war crimes ?

  • respect.

  • this guys got balls

  • RON PAUL IS A FUCKING GENIUS. HE IS, WITHOUT FAIL, RIGHT ON THE MONEY

  • damn this guy is a infallible. I thought forsure he wouldn't defend the whole wiki leaks situation just cuz of what it could mean for his political carrer but how could i forget Ron Paul is just a good human being who knows that IT IS WRONG that the American citizen being charged on 22 counts of criminal activity is being held in solitary confinement awaiting court marshall for allowing the people to have information. Even if that information could be used by the enemy IT DOESN"T MAKE IT RIGHT.

  • Americans are too political

  • You can depend on Ron Paul for TRUTH, not 1/2 truths but TRUTH.

  • the best R candidate out there....his foreign policy is spot on. Domestically not as much, but we could do a lot worse. Palin is still whining about Katie Couric's "gotcha" question of what newspapers she reads. The Crazy right wing evangelical whack jobs that have taken over the republicans (thanks Fox!) will never vote for him though

  • Ron Paul is one of the only republicans worth listening to. I obviously would not agree with a lot that he says, but at least he seems to think about things.

The only disagreements him and I would have would be religious, since I am an atheist.

Too bad the republican party is more like Sarah Palin than Ron Paul.

  • @Silentsam7532 Maybe you should check out Ron Paul video's him dealing with the Fed Reserve .Your little uncomfortable issue about religion will go away .I really don't think Ron Paul is going to force religion on anybody

  • @2020starman I know about his views on the federal reserve. It is true that they are a terrible influence in America. America could not just go back to old style economy though. That is just unrealistic. Things need a change for sure, but it does not need to go backwards.

I don't know what any of the issues to do with the fed has to do with religion. I never would have thought that he is going to push religion on people. I just don't trust the motives of somone who believes in the christian god

  • @Silentsam7532 you can change that by switching to the republican side for this election. i've always voted democrat but i like ron paul so much i've decided to change and do what i can to make sure he passes

as for your religious differences, i agree. i'm an atheist as well and when i saw his policy on abortion i was really put off. but when you keep reading you see that won't really come into play during his presidency, he believes in power to the states, they make their own decisions.

  • @codenameGIZM0 The Republicans will never listen to or act like Ron Paul. The Republican party in modern America has nothing to do with what the party once stood for. The Republican party is the party of the wealthy.

At least I don't have to worry about only having two parties. I don't know how Americans can stand only having the two political parties. The world is never as simple as A or B, yes or no, so why only have polarized political parties?

Ron is the only honest candidate running.

  • i don't agree with all of ron's ideas but this speech was spot on ~

  • How about Bradley Manning?

  • lÔl_î_fËEl_so_lOnÈly_tôdåY

  • VOTE RON PAUL 2012!! REFUSE/RESIST!

  • im a dirty liberal but i have to admit...i like the cut of his jib.

  • This man so has my vote in 2012. I sure hope he runs! If he doesn't then I will vote Third Party. The Dems and Republicans need to go. They are not for you or me. They are for global corporations, the pharmaceutical industry, big aggy, and big banks. And not for the common folks that work for these industries...they're for the fat cats. Down with it all and up with the will of The People!

  • @SkyOne: Ron Paul believes in the Constitution therefore he doesn't believe in taxing specifically the rich if anything he doesn't believe in taxing anyone what so ever. He plans to eliminate all programs from the Government he believes in small government the things you speak of is something that many of the Modern Democrat speaks of but I agree Ron Paul does kick ass!

Argue for Liberty and remember that more government isn't freedom it is less government that will grant you liberty!

  • My god, I love this man!

  • ONE SHOULD FEED ONE'S CHILDREN IN THE HOME WERE ONE LIVES, NOT GO TO THE HOUSE NEXT DOOR AND EAT FROM THE TABLE WITHOUT BEING ASKED FIRST. SO WHY WOULD IT BE OK FOR A MAN TO FEED ANOTHER MAN'S CHILD BEFORE HIS OWN. THIS WILL BREAK IT DOWN EASIER FOR SOME TO UNDERSTAND. FIX YOUR OWN COUNTRY IF YOU LOVE IT SO MUCH MEX..& ANY OTHER'S THAT THAT FEEL BAD FOR IMMIGRANTS SHOULD GIVE THERE OWN FOOD,JOBS & HOUSES FOR THE POOR IMMIGRANTS TO EAT WORK AND LIVE. I KNOW AMERICANS WHO ARE VET'S AND JOBLESS

  • @curtis175 I'VE SEEN AMERICAN MOTHER'S WAITING AT OUR FOODBANK FOR HOURS JUST TO BE TURNED AWAY, FOR WHAT? SO PEOPLE CAN FEED THESE MEXICAN MOTHER'S CHILDREN WHO NUMBER ON AV.. TO BE 4-6 KIDS. THEY NEED THE HELP MORE? WELL THE AMERICAN WOMAN DID NOT PULL UP IN A NEW SUV AND GOLD CROSS'S ON HER CHILD UNLIKE THE POOR IMMIGRANT WOMAN WHICH COULD NOT LOAD HER OWN FOOD BECAUSE SHE GOT A PHONE CALL. SHE SAID IT WAS FOR A YOBB OR JOB! AS HER KIDS WERE PLAYING XBOX IN THE BACK SEAT! AMERICA..AME..

  • I wish i was american so i could vote for this man.

  • Let's vote Ron Paul 2012... He's not running yet (because he's smart), but he will. Lets change the course of history and FIX THIS MESS!!!!

  • The more I see video of Ron Paul the more I want to vote for him. Everything i'm for he believes in. He's definitely not any other Republican I have seen before except maybe Ronald Reagan.

  • We should not let people tell the truth. We should hide from it and kill anyone who causes our military bad PR(Public-Relations). We should kill'em like our troops were shown doing to innocent civillians when that private released those tapes of what the helicoptor crew did to those journalists. Hell, Kill all who don't vote Republican, own a gun, or don't sleep with cousins, and kill those who tell the truth about what our government REALLY does with your tax dollars.

  • @OsamabinLadenisGAY And then put ak-47's by their corpses and list then as terrorists in your after action reports!

  • @bigajosep Bring it on...I have no fear! No fear! Support the best man and the man you love...Ron Paul 2012!! He's the only politician that I trust and feel can make a dent in the "BIG AGENDA"!

  • @SkyOne RON PAUL will kick ass on Wall Street and the RICH billionaries.

Flat TAX 30 % TAX for Hedge Funds and parasite Interes .

TAX THE RICH AND SEND THEIR KIDS to WAGED US WARS...

  • @PeruDebate This is actually not at all true. Ron Paul is a true conservative...he does not believe in an income tax at all. one of the many reasons why he has my vote.

  • @PeruDebate stop all US WAGED wars

  • @SkyOne1111 People with no fear will free the the world. The elite bastards are weak because they are fearful of the people. The people have power, they just don't exercise it. NO FEAR, AWESOME.

  • @SkyOne1111 Ron Paul is always right.....he is the only republican speaking for the benefit of your country not for the party.......do your people recognize a true American?......

  • Ron sure makes the most amount of sense in all that we know and feel. I'm telling you...this is a man to watch and his son is too! He's the only one that has the guts to tell it like it is. He's a man of no fear. An man that truly wants to make a difference. This is huge people. Huge. He is your voice and mine. He wants what's best for you and me. Not big banks, big pharma, big insurance, big oil--they all had their day and their day is almost done! Yay, Ron! You tell 'em, tell 'em!

  • Good God we love you Ron!!! This is the man that will lead our nation to Freedom, the principle on which this nation was founded! Open your ears, open your hearts. This is a man that knows, and one who will set this nation straight. He's got my vote if he decides to run! He always makes perfect sense while others have their own gain and agenda which is not yours or mine. No one's!!! What the freakin' ay?!

  • God bless this guy. He will be safe and secure under my prayers.

The truth shall prevail you Elite BS-ers.

I will vote for Paul but ONLY on the paper ballot system.

  • This guy is awesome! Why is his son a kook?

  • @EFISHANT his son looks like a kook cause the media is biast and they dont like those who are not in step with the NWO's thought pattern. A better question is how did the people ignore the media and elect him anyways? Whats so kook about him anyways.... that auqa budda stuff again?

  • girls are prob more fun to get with than guys... just sayin

  • typical really... I list all the problems and these fucks ignore that shit and spew the oh the poor people shit.... at what point does the recession qualify us as the poor people? nobody wants to say cause they really just don't want to loose the cheap labor or their illegal boyfriend or they just hate america and think we owe everybody somethin. Or oh your a racist!!!! well My child best friend is a spanish kid he plays soccer with him like ery day you fucs so try again.

  • the more i reserch this guy the more i like him

  • 15 people should have no have babies

  • @techn0badb0y yes!!!! They should be aborted now themselves.... that would be progressive

  • I don't want Ron Paul to ever be president--I'm not a supporter of his at all. But he says a lot of good stuff a lot of the time, and he's more honest than the vast majority of politcians Here, talking about Wikileaks, I actually agree with him on a lot of the points.

  • @Tzadeck how could you be for the federal govt printing our money to its death, sending people to die for nothing in unwinnable wars, and crooked trade deals that are destroying our jobs? these are things he is tired of like the rest of us. I guess if you are a cop who likes the war on drugs that has never done anything but make drugs more popular you should not vote for Paul. If you want our military to have its handin every conflict on the planet you should'nt vote Paul. What is your deal?

  • @Crustydraw Words can't describe how stupid your post was. I said I disagree with Paul on a bunch of things but respect him in general, and you completely made up a bunch of shit that had nothing to do with what I wrote.

  • @TzadeckWords can't describe your decisions either evidently! "I said I disagree with Paul on a bunch of things" wrong! you never said that.... you said you agreed then you said you wouldnt vote for him... I was wondering why someone would write that. You would rather argue instead of saying you wouldnt support Paul because of X,Y,Z.... You like Paul but you are addicted to Obama would not be a good answer but IT WOULD ATLEAST BE AN ANSWER retard.

  • @Crustydraw Anybody who has any sort of complex opinion at all about a politician certainly can't express that in 500 characters. In the most broad sense I disagree with Paul because I think he comes to his decisions based on a philosophical/political ideology (ownership of one's own body/libertarianism), rather than from a problem solving point of view. It's good to rely on bigger ideologies, but exceptions must be made when they inevitably don't apply perfectly in the real world.

  • @Crustydraw BTW, you continue to post in a rude manner and with hardly any evidence of critical thinking. Don't put other people down when you can't even control yourself.

  • @Tzadeck This aint csi I dont have to list my proof. Google it man. now, the first think you said to me was rudeness so you have to be a ass to claim I was rude to you more or a progressive shitbag. I guess if you pull out the rudeness ruler I would definetly be ahead but the not the point.... Nobody likes to be shit on and some of us react a little different than you would like... Let me send you a box of chocolates and a dozen roses you bitch.

  • @Crustydraw The hell you talking about? I didn't start talking to you, you started talking to me, and rudely accused me of having all kinds of positions that I don't hold.

It's the curse of the idiots that they're not smart enough to realize that they're idiots. You think you're smart, but you're obviously a dope. Good luck with your mediocre life.

  • @Tzadeck no I was asking you which of his policies bothered you so bad. Then you said I was an idiot or something along those lines and now we have bickered back and forth for several posts. The point is no penis enlargement pill in the world will help you......The curse of the idiots? Who put that curse on me and do I have any hope of having it lifted? Good luck with your life of making posts you would rather not back up cause it would take too many words.

  • Ron Paul would be a great President! He actually has Common Sense, something that is lost in our Gov't.God help us all!!! Yes I said God!!!

  • God, this man should be the president. America has become such a collosal joke. Corruption is rivaling that of ancient Rome.

  • Ron Paul seems to be the most honest public man ever produced by the North American Society.

I can´t vote on you because I am not american, but I´m impressed with your courage and bold sense of opportunity to clarify so many things that no one else could do so well

Congratulations and thank you, Ron Paul!

  • This guy will be coming up missing shortly.

  • The fallacies of the US government is ridiculous.

  • I really like Ron Paul... one of the very few politicians that seems honest and truth seeking. I would vote for him in a heartbeat

  • Ron paul respect.........

  • I hope those of you in Europe are watching what is happening here in America with a lot of attention and that you are completely aware by now, that our government here in America is rapidly becoming a Fascist Dictatorship that is doing everything possible to eliminate our Constitutional Rights and disarm us to make it almost impossible for the people to fight back. I hope you guys don't take this comment lightly, because it affects you too. We all need to join together against this cancer.

  • YouTube is NOT letting us give Thumbs Up or Down to some comments, more US government censorship disguised as private business censorship. YouTube, Yahoo, Google, Twitter, Facebook ..all of them are cooperating with our federal Mafia. We ALL, I'm talking about in ALL COUNTRIES, need to join together, forget our differences for long enough to teach governments a lesson about what happens when they try to push us too far. I encourage all hackers with a conscience to join in this fight!

  • Ron Paul would be the greatest American President to ever be elected. The entire world would change their opinions of the US if he were President and terrorism would be under control. The presidents we have had in recent years have made the entire world hate America and that is why we are being bankrupted by terrorism and the Jews who are getting rich from government security and materials contracts because of this.

  • @USStateSponTerrorism You're absolutely right mate. Spoken like a scholar and a gentleman.

  • Ron Paul always makes sense. I don't think anybody in our government knows more about the flow of of money in our country than Ron Paul. He is a Libertarian and would be the greatest president of our time.. Unfortunately, he is not a huge bullshit artist and probably will never be elected.

  • I certainly don't agree with Ron Paul on every issue, but I admire him for his honesty, consistency, straightforwardness, and civility. I hope he sticks around.

  • 15 people will be playing strip poker with Hitler in hell after they die.

  • Fair enough..Happy New Year !

  • Only morons would prosecute someone or kill them over gossip, what a bunch of BS....ooooh the gov does bad stuff and lies to people, you mean it took wikileaks for everyone in the dark to figure this out circa 2010, after 911, 2000 election and the annoitment of "the one" being Obama, people still think the government and their friends in the cable tv news industry and news paper buggy whip world don't have an incentive to lie about themselves?

  • #2 How could an Army Private get access to so much classified information?

Simple. Everybody in his office who had clearances gave him the information somehow so he could be the 'mule' and forward them to WikiLeaks. Then sacrified him to save their own skins when they should have come forward and told the truth and become heroes themselves. Cowards!

OTOH he could be totally innocent but was a nuisance, trying to get this up through the official channels, so they decided to get rid of him.

  • Ron Paul we love you!!! The American people love you. You are the only voice we can trust!! You are the hope for the future of this nation. Without you, we will be enslaved to China and big banks. You, and your message, are about what our forefathers envisioned and what the colonists fought and died for in the 1700s. All I can do is hope and pray that you become our president. You are hope!

  • It is stunning to think that the GOP thinks of this man as a "crackpot" when he exemplifies everything the GOP is supposed to stand for. Who the hell hijacked the GOP ?

  • @cell9song

" Who the hell hijacked the GOP? "

Newt Gingrich, the countryclub republicans, and the transnational corporations they relentlessly represent (see their existence on tax cuts for the wealthiest, while tax cuts for the middle class alone were no good to them).

Nixon, Reagan, and of course Eisenhower would be Democrats today, there is no way they could be elected in a post-Gingrich Republican administration. And if they would be denounced as 'communists' by Fox News.

  • @tigerone1970 exactly. took the words right out of my mouth, Gingrich is as conservative as Barry Goldwater is a communist.

  • Go Ron Paul!!

    Julian Assange is a hero.

  • He really is an amazing candidate and stirs up a lot of sense. I'm not a fan of his social agendas especially his opposition of the civil rights act though...

  • That guy has always made a lot of sense. This is no exception.

  • If Obama gets Obama from prior election - win, WikiLeaks won't be a huge problem...

    This video is quite important!

  • Where the fuck are these conspiracy faggots coming from, he's not a government shill, CIA agent, or a Mossad sleeper cell. These people need to have their minds checked, fuck conspiracy theorists.

  • @viletree C'mon wake up!!!! Free your mind. Stop allowing yourself to be brainwashed by the crap that's spoon-fed to us by mass, mainstream media! Wake up! Your future and the future of your children depend on it!!!! Don't let anyone lead you to believe otherwise!!

  • YES... TELL IT LIKE IT IS RON PAUL! YOU HAVE MY VOTE

  • @Kimberly9489 He has my vote too! And my folks' vote and nearly everyone I know!

  • @Kimberly9489 Im movin to his goddam state to vote for him

  • @IAmTheNietzsche Me too! Ron Paul 2012, that's all there is to it!

  • GO RON GO

  • Ron Paul is the last honest man in Washington; what the fuck has this country come to? What the fuck did I go to Iraq for?

  • Everyone needs to watch the YouTube video: "Sex, Lies, Iran, Israel and WikiLeaks"

    Julian Assange = O'Brien (1984)

  • IF YOU ARE JUST LEARNING ABOUT RON PAUL, PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD TO PEOPLE YOU KNOW. THE ONLY WAY WE MAY SIDE-STEP A COMPLETE MONETARY COLLAPS, IS TO VOTE FOR RON PAUL IN 2012 FOR PRESIDENT.

HE WILL BRING THE TROOPS HOME, END THE DRUG WAR, AND SECURE THE BOARDER ! HE IS NO LIER.

  • Ron Paul is the best!

  • RP 2012

    Let's bring some REAL change

  • im tired of hipsters... none of them know what to do with their dicks...

  • dead prez for prez.

  • Yes, Ron Paul for president in 2012!!!! And Assange as vice-president!!

  • @SkyOne1111 Does the VP have to be natural born as well as the POTUS

Ron Paul would be very dangerous with more power

The silly old goat is not wrong about everything but he is wrong about too many important things

The team I want to see is Bernie Sanders for Pres and Olbermann as VP

  • You go Dr. Paul!

    I just love this man.

  • @emanovska Me too, he's just great. Just great! Our only hope for a better, stronger country!

  • uhm yea do u want a list of them? In the early 1890-1900's multiple states refused to protect basic human rights for "China-men" because they were "Mongoloids" and brought forth "scientists" to a court of law to testify that they are not of full human (really sad). Also, the most egregious are the ones that involve religion. Mainly southern states had laws, I think some may still have them, where you couldnt denounce christianity. Who forced these states to stop... oh yea the federal govt

  • Words of wisdom from a smart man.

  • even ron paul and jesse ventura want out cuz they know the whole system is rigged and set to explode by command... they know the whole game set up by a select few..and that its all corrupted from the inside out... and all around it..like spiritual diarrea.. being spewed oozing greed anger fear dispair.. deceit lies insecurities ... time to expose the psychopaths that run our lives ppl stand up or stay down your choice we have the opening to abolish corruption for ever... be part of something

  • @OmnInOnInmO This is why we need these guys in the highest positions on Capitol Hill! Time to get the bums out and bring in the real deal. The people that represent us all. Ron Paul will get this country back in shape. It's time for true change and getting back to the principles on which this country was founded. I'm telling you...we need to go back. If we continue on this path it will lead to nowhere and our destruction. We will become a nation in the hands of another.

  • I don't know if I can like Ron Paul or not. Rush, Hannitty, and Sarah Palin haven't made my decision for me yet :) JK He is one of the few republicans that is still American

  • Someone here wrote that there is a voice of sense in Paul. I respect Paul but he wants to abolish essential aspects of the government and have people rely more on themselves... unfortunately we do not live in a world where people make zero mistakes or are born in a wealthy family who sends them to private schools... We live in a world where teenagers do really dumb things that mess up their future, or kids have drug addict parents... kinda heartless to turn our backs on them. Libertarian=retard.

  • @absolutelycertaiable truer words have not been spoken in a long aeon... welcome to the awakening.... and it shall quicken ... so keep your eyes peeled

  • @absolutelycertaiable Well, I don't think he's so much proposing turning our backs on people going through difficulties. What he suggests is that we do not take all of this money and power and filter it through the federal government. There are other options that don't create a destabalizing disparity of wealth. If you don't give those resources to the government you will have them locally. Lots of people I know volunteer, we don't need the government for assistance programs...keep it local.

  • @absolutelycertaiable You misunderstand Paul if that's what you think. Paul is a strict constitutionalist, which means he follows it to the letter. It is because of this that he opposes the federal government overstepping its bounds into state jurisdiction. His most common explanation for any policy position is "the Constitution does not authorize the federal government to do that." You don't need a national government interfering in state government business.

  • @PoliticsStudent

So the problem is the constitution

  • @maxine2win THE PROBLEM IS THAT THE GOVT. IS IGNORING THE CONSTITUTION ! THE FED. GOVT. HAS NO POWER.....UNLESS THE CONSTITUTION GIVES IT TO THEM . THERE ARE 18 THINGS THEY CAN DO. PERIOD.

WE SAID: "THIS IS A LIST OF RULES YOUR ARE ALLOWED AND REQUIRED TO INSTITUTE." "NOTHING MORE THAN THIS, CAN YOU DO."

AND THEY GIGGLE NOW, WHEN ASKED ABOUT THEIR RULE BOOK. THE US CONSTITUTION.

  • @absolutelycertaiable You characterize him as some monster that doesn't care about people. The man was a doctor -- he worked to save lives. His role as a federal politician has been to respect and uphold the Constitution, and to leave it up to states to decide how they want to help people.

  • @PoliticsStudent monster?? I said I respected him. although the Constitution is one of the all time greatest documents created; in the end it does just explain what should be common sense, ie, fairness and justice to all human beings... now if we had it your way where the states called the shots, who knows we may still have had slavery. states are not any wiser, i would actually say they are worse because they pander to sometimes racist majority constituents, which can violate the constitution.

  • @absolutelycertaiable It's easy to use an extreme example like slavery to justify your point of view, but essentially what you are saying is that the people in a given region should be subject to outside influences that are not outlined in the Constitution. The Constitution does not just explain common sense, it dictates how government should be organized and what limitations there are, and you are clearly ignoring that aspect.

  • @absolutelycertaiable Whether the state governments are competent or not is irrelevant. The Constitution guarantees some sovereignty for the states in deciding their own affairs, just as it limits the actions of states. If there's a policy that you don't like in a state that you don't live in, then why should you care? Let the people of that state govern their own affairs, notwithstanding violations of the Constitution. Why have a Constitution at all if we're not going to follow it?

  • @PoliticsStudent the example is also true. the crux of the civil war was state choice on slave ownership. u wanna know the funny thing. republicans have been able to somehow convince ur types of persons that the federal govt is evil and that we should get rid of taxes for the rich. cut welfare and housing. and you sheep fall into line. just like the civil war, only 1 percent (plantation owners) owned slaves, and the poor non-owners fought for them to keep them. stop fighting your own interests

  • @absolutelycertaiable I've acknowledged your example already, stop beating a dead horse. Indeed, my point was that you're taking the easy route (which you are). Any more examples? Or is slavery the only argument you have to support your case?

Perhaps you're unfamiliar with how a federal system works. The United States is, as the name implies, a union of states. The whole point of the Constitution is to guarantee rights for states and rights for people.

  • @PoliticsStudent you didnt address the issue regarding how so many people who had no interest in slave ownership gave their lives to protect its institution. the issue that i am talking about of course is fighting against your best interest. they did it to sheep like you in the civil war, mccarthy era, civil rights era, evangelicalism, the ground zero mosque, while they give themselves enormous privileges by pandering to ur ideas, and when they dont deliver they blame the liberals.

  • @absolutelycertaiable The Civil War was, primarily, about the rights of states to control their own affairs. Slavery was one aspect of it (an important one, of course).

Your argument has nothing to do with states rights. People fight against their own interests on the federal level as well, so what's your point? The fact remains that the Constitution is very clear on what responsibilities should be left to the states. Why should the federal government take over state responsibilities?

  • @absolutelycertaiable When did I say the federal government is evil? When did I say I support tax cuts for the rich? I'm a libertarian socialist; I denounce class hierarchy and support collective ownership and voluntary association. The federal government has no Constitutional right to deliver those services. You seem to think that I hate the federal government, but really, I just support the Constitution and true federalism in action.

  • @absolutelycertaiable What is so strange is how people always associate "states rights" with slavery. Apparently, many have not engaged in proper historical research. The African slaves were brought to the New World by the Spanish, British, French, Portuguese, and Dutch empires; that is, Big Government. It is also important to remember that until the 19th century, slavery was a cemented aspect of almost every civilization in history up until that time.

  • @Mechanized0 yea, 'so strange' how the Declaration of Secession expressively says Slavery is a States right which the federal gov't is impeding on. I guess that is why I associate states rights with slavery. Also, it was mainly the british that brought slaves to the U.S. (others did in their colonies) Slavery is by far the most degrading and inhumane institution and for u to justify it by saying, "well everyone else was doing it," really shows your inadequacies in critical thinking and debate.

  • @absolutelycertaiable

You really need to read about what "libertarian" means. Ron Paul and others reject the idea of a expanded federal government. Do not confuse this with local community, which is fervently supported by libertarians. The point of libertarian movement is that most of the tasks assigned to the government can be done at a state level and often quite more simply and efficiently. This is not a retard idea, the problems u mention cannot be solved by the government. Never could.

  • @goma3 Agreed. Let us examine the actions of Big Government so far. Does anyone like the results? $13.8 trillion deficit; Unending warfare abroad; a "war on drugs" that has created an enormous amount of crime; Amtrak, social security, medicare/medicaid, the post office. All bankrupt.

    Any questions?

  • Lifting the American eyelids......Forget running for President, become Prime Minister of Australia..... :)

  • @Operationjugular Sorry, we have first dibs on him. ;) I do hope the good people of Australia find there own Ron Paul.

  • Leaks don't kill people. Secrets kill people.

  • Has Rush Limbaugh told us ditto heads what to think about Ron Paul's comments?

  • I tend to think a President is just a puppet figure. However, in this case, I think we all know who we're voting for next election...

  • Please run for president. I love Ron Paul

  • Crikey. I never thought I would be applauding a speech read out by a Texan Republican Senator. Well done, Ron Paul.

  • I hope US knows now for who to vote in next elections!!!

    Ron Paul rules!!

  • @drejtool I voted for him in 2008. I will keep voting for him until one of us passes away!

  • @soontekoh34

Thats what I want to hear ;)!

    Peace man!

  • @drejtool

They can't. It's all rigged, idiot!

  • @drejtool DEFINITELY!!! Ron Paul for President in 2012!!!!!

  • @drejtool he does have a few good sides, i'll admit. shame he's so damn conservative and religious moral conservative though. you'd think a good president would at least be pro-choice on abortion, openly pro gay rights etc. That's my only issue with R.P.

  • @mandolinroad

First of all, RP is pro-gay rights. Secondly, abortion is a non-issue. No politician can ever change it. Only the Supreme Court can, and they wait until a President they like is in office to retire.

Seconly, these are both very minor and unimportant issues in the whole scheme of things. Getting rid of institutional laws that discriminate gays is ethically right, but really society has to change, and no law will do that. Lastly, abortion being legal or illegal won't change the

  • @cdc482 The fact you're talking about the number of abortion proves you don't get it. The number is irrelevant, if there's ten of ten million abortions doesn't matter. Thing is, there is supposed to be just as many abortions as the women want. You don't want the baby, you don't have it. How many women make that choice, is a non-issue. Secondly, claiming that the GOP is pro-gay is ridiculous considering the DADT vote to name just 1 example. These are matters of principle and as such huge issues.

  • @mandolinroad

    1. I am not talking about the Republican Party. I am talking about Ron Paul, who is very much for gay rights.

    2. What exactly is it that I don't get? I don't unerstand at all what you are saying about abortion, but it is clear that you didn't read my comment.

My point is simple. Politically, abortion laws will not be changed. Practically, illegal or not abortions will still happen. If you do want to change abortion, you'll have to change society.

  • @cdc482 Change in society can be accomplished by progressive decisions. And by good education, preferably free from religious dogma which is not the case in, for example, Ron Paul's own home state. The point in the abortion issue is this: how many abortion are performed per year, is not interesting. The number should correspond 100% to the number of women who do not want their baby. Whether that's three or three hundred thousand, doesn't matter. Abortion is a right, not "murder".

  • @mandolinroad Paul has said that abortion should be left to the states not the feds. I know that people who say progressive really mean boot on the neck of freedom. Religion is a right killing babies is not. So you are for murder but me and my family shouldnt be able to get together on Sunday and praise Jesus!!? YOu are a luniticand you must have alot of hatein you. Is partial birth abortion murder to you? Have any Christians ever pulled out a gun in your neighborhood and shot any progressives?

  • @mandolinroad you mean by a good PUBLIC education right? one that teaches our children that morals are not good enough for them and that feeling good is more important eh? I bet you'd kill your grandma if it felt good. I have a question for you are you ok with a baby being mudered at 8 months so the mother cansit around on welfare anyways? cause most people who get abortions don't grow up to be anything anyways so its not like they were doinganything anyways. is population control progressive?

  • @cdc482 Sorry, I accidentally wrote GOP, I meant Ron but it doesn't matter, he's still not pro gay rights and you know it.
