  • verry good

  • Im going to a shooting range

  • @farawayniceguy actually the m16a1and m16a3 have full auto and the m16a2 and m16a4 only go to three round burst.

  • M16s don't have full auto dumb ass and no civilians can not own without a class 3 license

  • @farawayniceguy The M16, M16A1,and M16A3 have 'SAFE', 'SEMI', and 'AUTO'.

The law pertaining to civilian ownership of a fully automatic weapon requires no license to obtain or own said firearms. The NFA '34 (and amendments) does restrict when they were made and registered.

A civilian can legally own a registered M1A1 Thompson made in 1944 that has full auto functionality.

A civilian can not legally own any automatic firearm made after 19 May 1986 (as per the Firearm Owners Protection Act).

  • @farawayniceguy The 'class 3 license' you reference to is the Special Occupational Tax Class 3 (dealer of NFA firearms), civilians can not get this license unless they own a business that sells firearms and have the appropriate FFL Type for that SOT Class.

    The Class 3 SOT requires either a Type 1, 2, 7, 8, 9, 10, or 11. And they must be a business.

    A Class 2 SOT requires either a Type 7 or 10 FFL.

All of them cost $3,000 to get if you qualify.

  • @farawayniceguy An NFA firearm that is registered can cost under $3,000, but it is very rare. When getting one, the person goes through the normal NICS background check and fills out the paperwork for the NFA firearm transfer (this includes paying for the mandatory $200 tax stamp) and gets fingerprinted and cleared by either a judge or the local law enforcement in order to own the NFA weapon.

After about 4 to 8 months, you can pick up your NFA firearm.

  • can civilians buy colt brand of m16 and m4?someone please?

  • @GsxRaider If it is made and registered with the ATF before 19 May 1986, then yes.

It is a better investment to buy one of the AR15 clones on the market today anyway, so I would suggest getting one of those instead. There is plenty of variety and they cost a lot less than an NFA registered M16 or M4.

  • U would look 10 years younger without ur mustache my syr

  • Thats is not the m4 that an m16

  • i wanna live in that shooting complex......

  • DR. lol

  • if u shoot alot of rounds will ur shoulder hurt?

  • @ISAJirafProductions the m4 and m16 are designed to have very little recoil. partly due to the bullet. you can put them16or m4 on your forehead and fire it and be fine.

  • @epilogmusic not just the bullet but the recoil spring inside the butt stock

  • odd video

  • Big mouth, now back to the kitchen.

  • Want to join them :D

  • M-16.....

  • colt m4 are grate 6940 just roks my favoret in the line

  • @AlexJrSmith The Army Pretty Much Uses The Colt M4 Carbine..

  • Hdsbdjx

  • Alex jr smith is so gay

  • Do the us marines use the m4 carbine or the m4a1?

  • I love all the people on this who think they know everything about guns and they have never even held one.

  • rednecks haha.

  • they should replace the m4 and m16 with rocks so that way you could have....UNLIMITED AMMO!!

  • the guy in the beginning looks like Bert Reynolds

  • @HelllShy i thouhg it was billy bob thornton

  • what kind of crybaby bitch complains about it being called an M16. as mentioned before, it is an M16 regardless of barrel length. Some people just have nothing better to do than bitch and complain

  • You guys are real smart.

Did you ever think that they replaced the M4 lower receiver with an M16 lower? Or maybe they had the telescoping stock and short buffer tube replaced with a solid M16 stock and buffer tube?

Huh, looking at the barrel length, the hand guards are shorter than M16 length.

Now you'll say "They said it's an M16, idiot.". Well, the M4 isn't in it's own class of rifle, it's in the M16 Family. The vid is correct, but the upper receiver makes it an M4 carbine.

  • @Reynard13Fuchs yeah but the m4 shoots full auto, and the m16 shoots three round burst cause they changed it, and as you can tell in this video they shot 3 round burst, meaning it is a m16...

  • Really?

Have you held an M4 fresh off the line recently?

The M4 MWS that I have issued to me is configured with Burst, The M4A1 however (which mostly SF uses) has Fully Automatic capability.

The normal M4 is made with Burst, not Full Auto.

And like I said, It is carbine length, making it an M4 (even with full length, solid stock).

  • @Reynard13Fuchs No not fresh off the line, but okay if you say so..

  • @ajstyles1020

they still have full auto M16 they are just rear.

but 3 rnd burst doesnt make it an M-16. M-4 has that ability aswell. I mean a type 96 has 3rnd burst but you wouldnt call that a M16 now would you.

  • @Reynard13Fuchs not nescessary...

  • @xxXfanosXxx Please be more specific.

  • @Reynard13Fuchs More specific.. ok.As i understand u probably think that the barrel is one piece fixed in the upper receiver and that the stock (and stock parts)is one piece fixed with the lower reveiver..actually they are not..they said that its an m16 because they made them out from m16s, and, actually their main difference between an m16 is that they have changed the barrell with a shorter one and replaced the long handguard with a shorter one (like the m4 has).

  • @Reynard13Fuchs continue of my response. these rifles are m16s. and you dont name a gun from its external parts, but, from its internals which is another reason to tell you that these are actually m16s because they have the m16 mechanism (except that those in the vid have a shorter barrel ,than a normal m16 has, which, makes them look like m4s)

  • @xxXfanosXxx A weapon is named according to external features. And, are you suggesting that they went through the trouble of replacing the hand guards and the barrel instead of just replacing the upper receiver with that of an M4? It would not make any sense to do that since replacing the upper would be much faster and easier.

As for the Lower Receiver parts, the full auto parts can be swapped out by an armorer. (continued)

  • @xXfanosXxx It would be easier for them to have an M16A3 lower or to replace the Stock and buffer tube with an A2 style Stock and buffer tube if the internals were from an M4A1.

I know quite a bit about the M16 family of firearms, because that is what I used in the military. And I have a particular fascination with firearms in general.

  • @Reynard13Fuchs they maybe replaced the upper receiver with an M4 one (not M4A1) but still you are wrong if you think that the gun is named from the external features.. like Scar family rifles L to H havent got much externally difference... but if you see the inside... they are way too different...

  • @xxXfanosXxx Okay. How about this.

Lets look at the M1 Garand and the M1 Carbine. Both use the same gas system and share a lot of similarities, but, the Carbine is chambered in a different round than the Garand rifle. The same is true with the Mk.16 and Mk.17 SCAR. They both use the same gas system, but are chambered in a different round. Both examples exhibit enough external differences to warrant a new name, not a new variation.

What is used in the video is a Carbine (M4), not a Rifle (M16).

  • @Reynard13Fuchs idk man ,but now i have seen the descripion and they wrote m4s and in the vid everyone is saying m16s lol!

  • Its a M16, but good vid

  • it's not an m4! but good video tho.

  • Um the video said m16, not m4 carbine, regardless it was still a good video even if you dont have your facts stright XD
