@jenniferlondon1 Since you don’t know the meaning of idol worship, let me explain you from Colossians, chapter 3: 5-6 “ Put to death, then, the parts of you that are earthly : immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and the greed that is idolatry. Because of these the wrath of God is coming.

If you think praying to MARY is idol worship, you are mistaken. When people pray to Mary, they don’t worship her but pray through her to her Jesus. It is called communion of saints.

Jennifer, I have one GOD and one saviour JESUS. Got It! If you want to know why we need to pray through saints then you need to ask this question to GOD himself why he listen to prayers of his people starting from ABRAHAM, MOSSES, JOB to reduce his wrath on his own people. Instead of bashing Mary or other saints, pray for non-believers of GOD. If you can convert one non-believer to believer, you will attain the fruitful of your life.

If you still think Catholics worship idols, you need to first find the answer why GOD asked Moses to make a Serpent (which is idol as per you) as written in Num. 21:8–9
