So is "Jesus" not an acceptable translation? I understand that it isn't the original Hebrew, but since we don't speak Hebrew can't we have an English translation? I just find it hard to believe that people have been using the name Jesus for so long and seemingly with success. Do we really need to say the original name to be accepted as followers of Christ?
