the back plate pops off and you can see the tumblers. each one you line up just look at the number. thats the easiest way. no trial no error, just a screwdriver

or if its locking something u apply the whole weight of ur body plus ur foot up agianst whatever its locking and pull that whole lock and it will snap the inside parts and u got a broken lock or unlock combination lock

theres a tool u can make out of sheet metal thats like a jimmy and u slip the point flat it and make sure it hugs the inside round part where your index fingure is on the left then push down and wolah its unlocked fast and theres none of that involved and why that was discovered or already known is so pesky cops could open your locker incase they thought u had drugs or something

at 5:12 there is no way that you can get a remainder of 4 if you are dividing by 4. do you mean if you get a 2=1 and a 3=2. RickRubik said that if you get a remainder of 2=0. Can anyone else confirm this?

Thanks, this video was very helpful. I was able to open my master lock.

I had a remainder of two, and I found out that for the third phase, just start with the number 0 and add 4 to each number. So if you have a remainder of two, then your numbers for the third phase would be 0,4,8,12,16,20,24,28,32, and 36.

I used this video to find the combination to 4of5 Master Locks on my sea bags from the service. How long it takes depends on luck. If the combination comes up in the 1st few attempts, then not that long. If the combination ends up being the 100th, then it can take an hour. My problem is he does not say what to do in Phase3 if your remainder is 2. He only comments on adding 2 to 0 or 1, or subtracting 2 from 3 or 4. But what do you do if the remainder is 2 for Phase3? Does anyone know?

youtube doesnt have a spell checker dude. a spell checker is not in your pc but in a word processor like word perfect or microsoft word. and btw you do put spaces after periods.

He says in the third step to figure out the second number, to take the remainder and add 2 if the remainder is 0 or 1 and subtract 2 if the remainder is 3 or 4. The remainder will never be 4 if you divide by 4.

I did this, and it worked, except for the part where yu find the third number; the whole numbers I got were 6, 16, 26, 36, and 39. According to the video, the third number would be 39, but I already knew that the third number is 36.
