  • I find it funny that I came back to your video and your abilities to teach - about two years ago I used to watch a lot of your videos when trying to learn about reloading, and about what to do with some of the meats from hunting I was going after, but in the last few weeks the archery bug has struck me, so I've been researching what I need. Thanks again, Randal.

  • Ya don't buy shiat from walfart!! Also here in Az you must have a minimum weight to hunt with, check your local regs. That's for hunting animals, illegals are a different story.

  • they say for lightest arrow should be 5grains times the bow poundage and hunting arrows should be 6grains times the bow poundage and that gets you the arrow weight you will need

  • Rules of thumb work sometimes for some product lines. The diameter and construction factor into spine (i.e. stiffness) - look at Axis (small dia) and Fatboy (large dia).

The manufacturer's application chart should work all the time. - jmo

  • okay then but how do i select arrows that dont have any charts like arrows from wal-mart

  • This is awesome!!! Thank you ridel for bringing your love of hunting, and your knowledge of the tools to do so, to this website.

  • very helpful video, great detail, keep the videos coming, thanks

  • Just trying to be helpful. :) Good luck in your archery pursuits.
