Ooh, that was beautifully done! This is exactly what I wanted to see. My little neice is deaf and I'm going to visit the family back in England at Christmas, so I'm trying to learn sign language so that she won't feel so uncomfortable around me when I arrive. And a Christmas song is perfect! Thank you for posting.

Hi, I really liked that and I think I might suggest it for our signing club to do at the Xmas concert (I'm only helping out as I'm just level 1). Some of the signs I use are a little different to these, which area of the country are you in? If you don't mind me asking.

brilliant, i use signalong, very simplified bsl with the kids i work with, i am very interested to learn "proper" bsl and your video is amazing, i will use it to learn the song and try and teach the kids, luckily for me its a simple song and quite slow, we have a carol service in two weeks and i hope to sign the whole song.

your signs are very clear and much easier to understand than some videos on here, why not do a vid teaching the basics?

To me, the sign WHITE doesn't carry the same connotations as the English word 'white' as used in that song -- which is why I asked. There might not be something better, but it's interesting to discuss. Though BenGee143 never answered my question so there has been no discussion.

whilst not the hardest song to sign, this is the best i've seen on youtube yet... the expressions are perfect, and you even manage to sign in the 'style' of a ratpack singer (if that makes any sense).

It's interesting to see how different BSL is from ASL. Some similar signs, but so many that are so different. You signed "Where the Treetops glisten" exactly as I would transliterate it.
