@indydaisy1 Oh ok thanks, what iv'e found with this board is i think it's scaled graphic quality down to get more games on there that run much better, been compareing cps2 (originals) to this game and there is a difference but on the whole i find this board one of the best if not the best out there.
Just wanted to chime in on a couple more things. I had problems getting my credit buttons to work. After doing a lot of digging and testing found that there is no ground on e+27 which is standard grounds used for control panel, coin lights and credits. So I had to splice e+27 to f+28. Also if found a ground on M which is solder side of pin 11 that can be used for the video ground. One other problem I had is voltage. Make sure to use 4.92v or the board will not last long.
Also there is a test button on the component side of the pcb that acts as a test button. This button when pressed while the board is allows you to add or remove games, switch lives and difficulty on SOME of the games not all.
@kporter946 very cool. I did not know this as I really have not looked into it. I know there are a few games on there some people may not want their kids to see. Thanks for passing along the info
Just got one of these and I had to splice that pin 14 as well. Turns out that this PCB does not come with a ground for video on pin 14 like standard pcb's do that's why it needs to be moved. However this is only true for some monitor chasis as I had to doe this for my older wells garner, I did not have to do it for my newer vision pro. I have no idea what the difference is.
i got a question about this pcb i see a cut in the connector in this video my jamma harness will fit this pcb but when i go online to order the happy fish it has an connector without a cut in it... which does not fit in my jamma harness what are the differences?
Thank you moomert1 for a great informative video. I was thinking to buy this jamma board for my arcade machine and your great video will help me alot, thanx again man.
Great informative overview mate, always appreciate guys like yourself taking time out explaining stuff. Don't know much about this board but imagine you get tons of classics such as Black Tiger, Final Fight, Thunder Cross, etc? Top notch dude. :D
anyone know what the dipswitches do for this board please?
indydaisy1 3 months ago
@indydaisy1 I think the dipswitches were for changing things like coin settings but I am not sure.

Hi moomert, is there any issues if I connect another PCB on this modded jamma plug ?
Manifikobzh 6 months ago
@Manifikobzh not really sure. I would imagine, a standard jamma pcb would give you "wavyness" just as this pcb got prior to moving the ground wire.
