Because if you do research, how many Christians use alcohol, don't go to church, have sex before marriage, commit crimes, ... The Bibel says all of the above is forbidden. I hate all religions, especially Islam. Slowly, the world as a whole is beginning to realize that religion is a mindset for ancient man, not modern humans in the information age. Agnostics are the true heirs to the planet.
I read some of the many comments on here. It's laughable to think that any Muslim country could stand up to the USA. LOL! Muslims can only fight against occupation, cowardly launching mortars and RPGs from a schoolyard. The USA doesnt even use half its military capabilities.

Religion is what has taught us the morales and values that define true good. the only religion people believe in now is the media, sluts, music, selfishness, greed, jealousy and lust. Id prefer the brotherhood of Islam anyday.

Wrong. It is trial and error that has taught us morals and values that define "true good." We have learned how to live together over hundreds of thousands of years. It is only in the past few hundred years that we have really started to blossom as a species.
You choose to focus on the negatives instead of the positives. I choose to focus on academics, science, knowledge, civility, and the furthering of our civilization. Only the weak minded focus on religion all day like Muslims do.

Those values are not kept in the Bible and Qu'ran. Those books are filled with as much hate and violence as they are peace and civility (I have read them).
You are ignorant in assuming that I think that what I see on TV and movies is the truth. I question everything that is presented to me; I have a rational mind. I objectively analyze everything, of which I doubt you are likely to with Islam and religion. The emotions you listed are few of many that cloud rational thought.

Morals and values are derived from logical and rational thinking. In the past, people did not have access to instant information. Thus, they had to make up stories and legends to teach values and create answers to unknown questions.This is where religion comes from.
We have no use for this today. We have access to any information almost instantly. We have answers to things that were always attributed to gods. If you don't like science, stop using its benefits (computers, cars, electricity, etc)

People take their values from the government and media. it is creating a wedge between Islam and Christianity. using political corectness, laws on racism and equal opportunity policies. My political agenda is not selfish. I wish for humanity to become as advanced as possible in science and technology. I wish for our species to branch out into the universe and discover all the secrets it holds. I wish for science and technology to bring an energy revolution (no more oil).
If religion doesn't slow down the development of science and technology, then people can think whatever they want. Just don't claim what you have faith in to be the absolute truth. Don't force it on others.
