  • Good video mate : ) its good to have a decent compass and a tiny key ring size one. if your lost you may not trust your expensive one and have to double check for north on your tiny cheap one.

  • haha nice acab, all cops are ... :)

  • I have the same compass in my bug out bag too

  • The greatest stories would be told while I was in the service of young "el-tees" joining a mechanized unit. These yopung stalwarts would take their mechanized platoons out and start roaming the German countryside. during the frequest stops, they would lay the compass on top of the armored personnel carrier, shoot an asmuth, and off they went. The troops would move quietly behind as it represented a way to kill a day.

  • Some guys inadvertently make the mistake of orienting their compasses on the hood of their vehicles forgetting that the hood is metal, then head out into the woods and get lost on their way back. :-0

  • hey wen u doing ur next knuckle duster compotitain i have some really good ideas

  • Cool Mike. Here's an improvised compass idea. You need a glass of water, a small magnatized sewing needle, and some cooking oil. Coat the needle in the oil and gently place "on" the water. Surface friction and oil will cause the needle not to sink. The needle will point north.... and south. Do this early in the morning and you can determine east by the sun rise and the needle will show you north. A bit old school, but fun.

    Good vid

  • Magnetic North, not true North.

  • Any compass is better than none! At least you get a general heading and not walk in circles for days on end! These type, except the big one, are for emergency use not orienteering or such like. Nice vid Mike ! Where did you get the little red one?

  • Nice video 5*

  • the last one is good but the rest are junk not hating its just that the others only show general direction not good 4 maps and why dont u like doing these types of vids is that why ur bro does them and u do knucks and other weapons?
