I, too, was watching KGO-TV in its final moments. I was struggling to pick up the signal with a rabbit-ear antenna. When the message "We are currently transitioning to a digital signal" appeared and then quickly disappeared, I assumed that my rabbit-ear antenna had lost the signal -- I'm glad to know that the signal itself had disappeared. KGO-TV certainly wasted no time with the "transition"!
