2nd time I am watching this PT, really good stroy based PT.

Plus it is a good story in general, and important for those of us w/o a Wii (who care about the DS story), plus its pure game, no talking. A+++

DeadSpace quickly became one of my favorite series, I hope DS3 stays true to the awesome balance of Horror/Action/RPG they had with 1 and 2, and what looks like Extraction. I think more Horror elements in DS would always be welcome over those other features though.

@bobojangles22 no no it says in the wiki that nate succumbs to his wounds and turns into a necromorph. and the part at the end is nates 1st person view as a necromorph. he pushes lexine to the ground, lexine screams and crawls away trying to grab her gun. when she does she aims at nate and he strikes with their fates uknown but since she survives she killed nate.

I'm tired of people saying that this game isn't scary and that they're 14 or younger playing this. I believe that's an utter lie- I am a huge Dead Space fan, beat the games 1 and 2 about 4x (due to trying to get achievements) and even when remembering how the game runs, I always get startled and very suspenseful. Thanks for the upload, I was especially creeped out at the end with that one guy lol holy crap awesome acting these guys have (game development that is)

I just beat Dead Space. Looking here into Dead Space: Extraction, I'm already little more than impressed. This begins where Dead Space ends. It all makes sense. This is the excavation location. It looks great- luckily I have the Wii. I know what I'm getting next!

This comes with the Special Edition of Dead Space 2 for ps3. Move compatible. The Special Edition also comes with Ignition (which kinda sucks...it's not even a real game), Dead Space 2 (obviously), a replica of the redesigned plasma cutter, and some unlockable stuff if you preorder from gamestop. It's priced at $80.

@uTonceig Yeah, but the atmosphere isn't the same either, you're always in a group of two or more, and everybody talks. The silence, the creepy music, and pop out necromorph moments are what scared me, in this game, you actually have time to react. Since you have free movement in DS, IMO, it scares me even more when I run away and still see the slasher on my ass. But each man to his own I suppose.

The movement might be directed, but that makes for a more cinematic experience in a way.

Anyway, I think it is crazy how if you have played through the first Dead Space you notice how precisely they have modeled this level to the last level you see in the original game. It's neat how you see different angles to the same place.
