  • mr. president aquino,

  • and if possible, TV networks refrain from announcing on air these cash pledges coz, its music to gov't's ears.

imbes na maghanap ng solusyon ang mga nasa gobyerno, eh, umaasa nalang sila na may tutulongng. they know for a fact that the phils. is visited by typhoons evry year, but ever since, no one cared to upgrade the key agencies that are needed whenever these calamities come.

  • PAGASA - outdated equipments

DIKES & DRAINAGE SYSTEM - poorly constructed and poorly planned

GARBAGE DISPOSAL/SANITARY LANDFILLS are few or even non existent in some areas.

    RUBBER BOATS/ RESCUE HELICOPTERS????

yet, even with these problems, they can afford to have constants trips abroad especially manny pacquiao fights where a perfect attendance from lawmakers, eat a million dollar dinner, have houses abroad, etc. etc. u fill in the blanks.

  • what a sad site to see for all the victims and their families, i hope and pray for them to get through this and to the lives that are lost my condolence.

    mabuhay ang pilipinas!

  • may punto ka.

  • when i doubt, avoid the government.

to have your donations get to the people that needed it the most give it to the private sectors, there are NGO's, religous organizations, etc etc.

  • definitely avoid donating thru the govt. donate via NGOs or religious organizations. i heard that customs is taxing relief goods being shipped from aboard!

  • any govt plan.. to prevent another such flood? knowing that you will always be in or near path of typhoons.. hope they built drainage system & alternative plan B..dams ? 40 years ago I already saw the need for drainage in Manila. I'm sorry for the people who suffered.
