Pretty sure the viper let off...even stock that year 2006 coupe does high 11s at 120 to 123 mph in the quarter. a few ticks slower than a c6z06.
have a hard time belieaving an older syle mustand at say 270 rwhp and maybey 400 rwhp with a good supercharger set up could win..

I would expect the mustang to win seeing how its super charged facing a stock viper. Im guessing the stang was a v8. The viper is a v10 so a supercharged v8 would be faster than a stock v10. But it also depends upon the driver.

@2k4terminator Of course they are lol There's no mustang beating a viper stock for stock nor mod for mod. Yea you're paying quite a bit more, but you're getting alot more car. You can't make a stang run with a viper mod for mod. This is coming from a diehard ford guy with a few mustangs, including a built 96 Cobra. Dodge actually did something right with the viper. Supercar performance for a 1/3 of the price.

@CalypsoNotch408 Don't know why a Mustang would be compared to a Viper anyway. 2 different classes of cars. Vipers are 2-seater sports cars while Mustangs are 4-seater pony cars. Considering the Vipers carry between 8.0L-8.4L V10's while Mustangs of the same years only carry between 4.6L-5.0L V8's I would think a comparison would be a joke. I am a diehard Mustang fan and I still think it's funny to see people talking trash about Vipers and Vette's are faster. For the motors and price I hope so.

@volcom133 actually he is driving a super charged mustang which is automatic. A viper is stick shift so in that case the driver is in charge of how fast the car accelerates. Plus a super charger pretty much doubles the horse power on a car. Im guessing the mustang is a v8, and the viper is a v10. Super charged automatic vs a v10 stick shift. Yes he would probably win. Set aside the super charger and the stang gets its ass beat.
