Amy is born in USA, but you would be very surprise that she speaks lao very pretty well & always used polite words not lao slangs. She took lao class @ Lao Temple & read lao too! She can perform lao classical dance, wear sinh-mai @ Lao formal events & greet elders with "nob.. _/ \_ " & respect our elders! These are the basic of lao culture would you said? Not many in her genX can do it & lost to the Western influences!!!

Yes, you are right. I personally don't know her very well, been in her house only once. But she appears to be very smart, friendly, stick with lao culture and she had done so many things for Lao community. I am proud of her!

You must be one of her supporters. That is great. I'm not trying to be a hater. I love the lao culture. As an American Laotian I am proud of my roots. I'm from Massachusetts myself. As a 23 year old I am one of the board memebers of the Lowell Southeast Asian Water Festival. I am forming my Lao American Youth Oraganization to keep the lao culture alive. I am Active with Temple.I will be seeing AMY in Canada on Dec. 26, 2009.
