You also need to put it into perspective that the Wii was never designed for hardcore gamers. But more for people who "casually" play games, the type that lean all over the place when using a joystick thinking it helps the character move more, and this is really just an extension of that.

I personally think the wii is genius, it appeals to toddlers, teenagers, your dad drunk and your uncles birhday party and oaps. In fact, the wii's virtual console is great, that's why I bought mine.
