  • i have a 76 four.i found this post then i lost it i looked up zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance forever.really cool thanks

  • I have two of those bikes... Been a pleasure I have for many years... I was born in '69.

  • Vielen Dank für das Video :-) Suuuuuupppppeeeeeerrrrrrr

  • This is great...although it is a philosophical tale merely using motorcycles as fodder for his viewpoint. I can't wait to get my 1980 CB750F running again, waiting on parts, will be a few weeks still !

  • great video.

i gotta show this to my wife so she "understands....."

    i ride a 1974 CB750 K4. and love it

  • I've never seen a gas cap fuel gauge before.

  • this is a wonderful description to those that dont ride or frown on bikers. couldnt have said it any better.

  • It's so true. My mother's getting a little too old to drive so I chauffeur her around in her car. It's like I'm sitting in front of the TV. There's a complete disconnect from the road and where you are. After I drop her off, I usually zip home and jump on my bike to cleanse my soul.

I've got a '82 CB650 and I absolutely love it. I'm going to look at a '75 CB750k later this week. I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!! BTW, I've never seen a gas gauge tank cap like that. Is that a stock part? Very cool (and useful)

  • the vid was lovely! any motero will relate to it.

    is that your voice?

  • Thanks. :) No, it´s not... It´s a sample from the soundbook "Zen And The Art Of Motorcycle Maintenance ".

  • right on cowboy

  • Right on

  • awesome video

  • Thanks

  • is this the brokeback theme song in the background? hahaha

  • I do not know, and I do not care. I have not seen that movie, and I am not planing to either... I guess you have seen it thou, so I guess the "joke" is on you...

  • Loved that speech. Thanks for the video.

  • Yeah, love it too! Guess everyone riding bikes can recognice them selves in that speech.

  • Had one in '78..fitted rearsets, ace bars,2/4 seat and yoshi 4-1 exhaust..was a blast but went bigger once the 350lc yams were passing me lol

  • haha :)

  • I'm restoring a 75 cb750 when it comes to the electronics I suck. I have a problem I just got new stock coils since then I keep blowing my 15A fuse any help would be appreciated.

  • i have a 1982 750c do you have the old coils is so make sure the numbers are the same, after market coils are very tricky. put the old coils back in an see if it runs

  • great video!

    all true said about motorcycling...

  • i want but can i ask

does cb750 is cheaper that a super 4 or almost same price planning to get 1

  • super 4? Are you talking about the CB 400 From the early 80´s ? In that case the CB 400 is alot cheaper then the CB 750 From the beginning of the 70´s.

  • i love this video... haha very cool, I ride all the time, so the old school voice and the music kinda got me.. sniff sniff

  • Thanks! :) I had a look at your video, your CB 750 Chopper is one of the most good looking CB 750 Choppers I have ever seen! Keep on rideing that Chopper! :) I have my bikes in the garage for the Winter now... We have a looong Winter here in Northern Sweden. :(

  • whats the music you use?

  • The music is listed in the end of the video...

First Song is: "The Wings" - Performed by Gustavo Santaolalla.

The second song is: "Higer Ground" - Performed by Daniel Lemma.

  • thank you i cannot the finish the video i am only on the middle bec i have a slow connection sorry...nice bike you have

  • Aha OK. Thank you! :)

  • Good video and motorcycles. I´m restoring an Honda CB550K1 1975. Greeting from Argentina!!!.

  • Thanks! Hope to see a video of your Honda soon! :)

  • Agreed great video. I am also restoring a 75 CB550F. Good luck.

  • I stand corrected. I did not know about the details of the European market. Thanks for correcting me on this. Now I know.

    Cheers

  • Nice video. Looks like you put some quality into it.

There's a discrepancy with this bike though... A K2 = 1972, a 1975 = K5. From the looks of the bike (e.g., the speedo and tach bracket, the slightly larger (than other models) front fork reflectors, no front disc brake guard, etc.), I think it's a 1972 K2. But it can't be a 1975 K2 as there's no such thing.

    If the numbers on the engine and frame start with a 2, then it's a 1972 K2. If the numbers start with a 5, then it's a 1975 K5.

  • Thanks! In Europe the K2 was sold from 1972 til 1975 or 1976. There were never sold any K3, K4 or K5 in Sweden. This bike is in other words a K2, but sold here in sweden in 1975. The engine and frame numbers start with a 2.
