I was there last year in Setemeber and Im going again this September. Lovely place to go on vacation. It has it all, beautiful scenery, excellent restaurants, lovely climate, culture and great charm. The weather is hot in summer but as Nice is located on the seaside, it's not suffocating (lots of air).

And, in winter, the weather is pretty good too. It does not often rain, the sun shines lots of days a week, and you can go to the beaches to get your bath sun from april to october ;)

If it's just to take a walk (use the train or the bus, it is not expensive) and visit the city, it won't cost you a lot ;)

Some places to visit in Monaco :

- The oceanographic museum (Cdt Jacques-Yves Cousteau was working with it),

- The Palace' place

- The exotic garden

And the Casino place, it'll remind you some old good James Bond's movies !...

I live in Nice, this city is very wonderful ! But there are some har quarters, like everywhere .

Otherwise it's a great city, there is Monaco and Cannes around Nice, the "Promenade des Anglais" is amazing the morning, to walk, or to run, or to swim.

But warning, if you go, be careful if you're walking, there are some thieves who practices "Pick Pocket", especially with tourists.

It depends. Cinque Terre is in Italia. You need 2 hours and a half to to to Genova (Gênes) and about 2 hours to go there. (IN CAR and from Monaco)

If you go there, you need to pass by Riomaggiore and Corniglia.

I live in Nice and I think we have chance to have sea and mountain next to us ! But it isn't so wonderful with the works for the streetcar (or tramway I don't know how you say)! Did you go to the pubs in the old-town ? Don't you think people who live in Nice are'nt good in english ? Lol !

Cute video :) I spent 6 months in Nice 5 years ago and went back for a week this summer. I've always loved it, love it still (adore, even) and I dream about moving there permanently. The only problem is that it's gotten so expensive, but all the other problems I can deal with easily..... Cheers.

Good video. I've been to Nice this summer. Wonderful city. Wonderful only for visiting, but not for living in it. As for the French people, they're boring. And in Nice it's a kind of mixture of French, Arabians, Asians etc.

Yeah - cool vid. Just came back from Nice. The french riviera is beatyfull. The frech people are not that bad, actually. You will manage...

A tip is to rent an appartement so that you can cook food yourself. Food in restaurants is expensive.
