Dr. Gipp teaches tithing. I know, though part of the law, it came before; like the Sabbath (Sat.), Able's blood offering, and circumcision. If it costs 10% for life, don't call it a free gift.
People have responsibilities, like family. They can't be in church whenever the doors are open. The early Church met once a week.
What happened to helping the poor?
"By works a man is justified, and not by faith only" James 2:24. (i.e., good deeds)
@34dd34 loved what he said abt God will for us...but i agree tithing is not same as giving and we are not under the law!! God doesnt care if we tithe unless its not from our heart, our whole life is to be a living sacrifice!! we are not under the law so how can he say we HAVE to read the bible every day, pray this and that much or go to church every sunday if we dont are we cursed?!!church fellowship is important yes but we are FREE to do good even on the sabbath!!
