the video quality isn`t bad... have to see when it was recorded and with wich camera... 6 years ago with a 10 years old camera i think it was not a small camera...
The pilot need to be plucky to put that camera onboard and know fly smooth.
what was that aircraft? Nexstar? Considering the conditions of the weather, it was a very good flight and the landing wasn't as bad as I have seen. And I've been flying RC over 20 years. Nice video
The plane was not trimmed out for hands off flying. As you can see, the pilot was having to constantly correct the ailerons. Always trim the control surfaces at the beginning of a flight and there will be fewer crashes.
There's no such thing as a stupid question, my friend. Second off, I would use RC flight simulators first before even attempting this kind of hobby, these cost around 100-200 dollars for beginners for these planes, and it would suck to destroy it on its maiden flight. You should try RealFlight G4, it's a great simulator, but its 200 dollars. I would suggest using single propeller planes in reality though. Hope this helps man, good luck.
Thats quite unfortunate, but hey, doing cool things come at a price. I'm thinking of getting an rc plane too, but in a few months when I'm not so broke, it looks like you're flying pretty high there, what range do you have on your transmitter/reciever?
Well, I bought it way back around '04. The electronics do get cheaper and smaller every year. I'd guess you could get an airplane like this for around €250 now.
i wouldnt either if it cost $600. but the fact is, you can buy digital cameras really cheap now ($50) and just wreak them. i have one for my kart, and amazingly, it has survived
"Bitter Sweet Symphony" by English alternative rock band The Verve...
Although the song's lyrics were written by Verve vocalist Richard Ashcroft, it has been credited to Keith Richards and Mick Jagger because the song uses the Andrew Oldham Orchestra recording of The Rolling Stones' 1965 song "The Last Time" as its foundation.
first off great video and sorry about the crash landing. hope the planes ok. but this is why im commenting on this video. i know it says to ignore below but i cant help but to ask why in the world did you add all of that stuff in the more "info'' area. is it so this video shows up in more search results? im just curious cuz it looks like a bunch of tags but its not in the tags section?
Well I've seen it in a lot of other videos, so I decided to give it a try and see it if really draws more viewers. However, it doesn't seem to work for me :]
That was outstanding. May I PLEASE SHOW this to my class. If you reply ok I will send you my email. I dont know how to pull stuff off of You tube. My kids would love this I know I do. I love in the end as your landing is that there are a pair of bikes in the grass. It give it a since of being just common folks having fun
I'm giving it two stars because I love the song... Otherwise, you would have had an instant one star for using a mega-spam keyword list in your details area.

this is an honest question. does anyone have a serious estimate on how much one of these things would cost (or cost to get the parts to build it)? these are really cool and i want to find out more about them.
Go to your nearest hobby shop. A lot of them have someone who can help you get started. I had a plane about 15 years ago. I went to the hobby shop near my house and the guy sold me a (Trainer) and built the thing for me. It cost around $300 all together before having it built but that was 15 years ago. I promptly crashed it on my first try and built a second one myself. This hobby shop also had a group I joined out in a huge feild and they helped me learn to fly my second plane. It's tricky.
