Cool tank man. I have a betta as well. I had some black skirt tetras with it but became an issue, now i have a tank with a betta and 2 kuhli loaches. Do you have any suggestions on what else i can get that wont nip at the bettas fins?
@haseebmalik323 Seaview is an adhesive that you apply on backgrounds and is removable. It enhances the overall appearance of backgrounds once applied directly to the glass of your aquarium. You can find Seaview and a blue background at your local pet store or online.
@Timespartan111 It does a pretty good job of helping to circulate the water and air around. Also creates a 'fake' current as the plants move around a bit. Adds a nice effect.
@Timespartan111 You definitely don't need one, but if you do get one, be sure to buy one that circulates water at a higher rate since the one I have is made for 20gal and smaller.
I just upgraded my tank to a 55 and purchased the Aqueon 700. It's definitely a good investment to have if you want a current. Hope this answers your question.
I have mine positioned near the top of the tank blowing straight across. It doesn't uproot my plants. I assume it will uproot any plants if you place it near the bottom.
