Well, if we're gonna be critical, let's at least be constructive. Forget the guitar a moment. I hear a very flexible voice with good midrange strength and ability to break-up to higher ranges for the yodel or grace notes as needed. Nearly all her vocal notes were accurate, whole notes, meaning she has a good ear for pure tone. She hurts herself with the armchair (interferes with playing), not using the strap (hunching over the box limits breathing), ranging the song an octave too high (MORE):

(MORE, CONTD): and the guitar is too "busy" in this song (meaning there is more guitar than voice). If she was singing into a mike the result would be different. The guitar is supposed to accompany her, not the reverse. If she slowed the song down and amplified her voice but not the guitar, you'd be more impressed. For amateur recording equipment w/out a coach in an un-acoustical bedroom, this was pretty good. For an untrained 14-yr old voice, this was EXCELLENT. Be fair.
