I watched all of Spectacular Spider-Man a few weeks ago and was blown away by how good it was, I didn't think this would compare. After moments like the one I linked at the start of this comment, I see why this still has a huge fanbase. I wish I had watched this more when I was a kid.

@megakisstallica12 let me offer my own opinion. both shows i believe are fantastic. but both have their flaws. Dragonball z has amazing fighting scenes and good storylines, but uses repeated footage often and has too many filler episodes. This show also has great animation and plots, but the episodes move at a pace that some may find hard to follow, and they all follow a similar format. But overall, both shows are entertaining, so don't bash them.

Dragon Ball Z isn't all that great in the American version, but in the Japanese version it's alright. Dragon Ball is way better than Z though.
