i love the purity of this man's tone. He truly gives the piece a lightness that keeps the song delicate and beautiful. I also love is ornaments. They are really creative.
That`s how this kind of music should be sung ! Besides, I don`t know if nowadays there are still teachers around who tell their students that these arias are useful to sing in that one doesn`t have to mind the text ! I mean, that`s what my teacher told me 20 years ago - a very nice person and not a stupid man at all otherwise. Well, there is a good example of a very different approach,
I feel that it is just a bit too slow and it does sound beautiful, I mean this to be simply a statement, not to sound rude at all, but in some words there are little "h" sounds and I got penalized for that in some auditions for schools. they hate it. It doesn't bother me though lol overall very beautiful.
I love your voice and specially this wonderful rendition of: 'Per la gloria adorarvi!' one of my favorite arias- never heard it sung like this!!! Bravissimo
The tempo marking is andante. I feel this rendition, although beautfiul is quite a bit a bit too slow and the ornamentation is a little too much for my likening. Still beautiful falsetto sound.
Even though Aris was disatisfied with his vocal sound in his earlier recordings, I have not heard any other falsetto sopranist sing so well. More importantly, Aris brought to our attention castrato arias when they either were not sung before or were sung poorly.

Aquí sí, me gusta mucho Christoffelis, aunque a algunas notas las "atrapa" con dificultad.

Troppo lento. anche se vocalmente sembra ancora stare bene.
