@sexychickkisskiss the strumming pattern i use to play this is d-dud-du (the - is a pause). thats for your full measures. with split measures, like when it goes from G to Em in the start of the verse, split it in the middle like d-du/d-du. it stays symmetrical like that. hope it helped. On another note, why would you want to play a sad song on a birthday? Most of Taylor's songs use the same 4 chords - G,C,D,Em just moving the capo around. find a happier song.

the only advice i would give is to just project more. it was a little hard for me to hear you above your guitar in the begginning verses unless i turned the volume out loud. other than that i thought it was preety good.
