What king of Wii do you have, like USA (Witch is NTSC for the video code) Europe (Pal for the video code) or Japan (NTSJ for the video code I think)?

Is it me or does the Japanese version of this game looks way better than the american cause it doesnt look like the american or is it that they improved on the port from GameCube to Wii?

you should try Maxell brand DVD+R's. Or Memorex brand, for 20 dollars you could a 50 pack of them!
