  • this sounds too "fluent" for Sco, he's got this funny odd timing that probably only Monk had in a similar fashion :)

  • Excellent, man. It's like being before Sco himself! Very useful guitar lesson. How did you get that Sco sound? Any pedal? Or just amp saturation? Tks.

  • mr stephan very nice playing as always. do you think 339 is a good guitar, I'm interested but never tried one.

  • @ggparma1 Yes I think the 339 is a great guitar. Versatile, light weight, nice neck (60's for me). A good compromise between a Les Paul & 335. Just need a real nut though!!

    As always try befor buy, there can be big differences from one guitar to another...

  • Nice sound! two questions;

    -es 339 : fat neck?

    -cornford roadhouse 30 : combo ?

  • @franckrochard No! 60's neck & Cornford roadhouse head. Thanks

  • Did you special order your 339? And what are you using for overdrive? Sounds great.

  • @LesterPaul01 Thanks! I use a Cornford roadhouse amp & that's a completely stock 339

  • danm!!, that guitar it´s a beauty!. nice licks too

  • Some damn tasty chops there brother, once I got to jam with with uncle John during a guitar workshop in Amsterdam in the eighties. From that one workshop I learned so much, I went home and started studying never stopped ever since. you're a mighty fine player,good time and tone,greetings Vic.

  • That right there is SMOOTH!!

  • Absolutely awesome Stephane, thank you for making such a cool lesson on one of the greatest jazz players!

  • Lovely sound ! be ordering myself a Roadhouse 30 within a week!
