It's one of the few bands that are worth every penny to see. I saw them in Washington, DC last year on the 360 Tour and hope to be able to see them again next year. They are the Beatles of my generation.

wow come on, U2 is one of the most original bands ever and has written a huge huge majority of their songs which is alot considering how long they have been playing. They have 30 years of great material unlike many of the so-called good bands these days and I think that kind longevity demands some respect and is considered one of the best bands in the world.
