Hi, could you help me? I just bought this camera yesterday, and I found this morning that the "down" button sometimes doesn't work well. Is it happening with yours too (default) or should I bring it to the seller? Thanks.

@alorag23 enable macro feature and u just put the camera really close to the object u want to take the pic, slighty press the shutter button to focus and then press all the way to take the pic :)

I LOVE this camera! I had a nikon before an the lens ended up breaking on me for no apparent reason. Later on I found out that they're notorious for that, and their customer service is HORRIBLE!! I was kind of leery about getting this camera at first because I had never really heard about Samsung in the camera world. But I'm definitely glad that I got this, another perk? I got it on sale for almost half the retail price! Definitely a steal and an awesome one at that!

I got the camera for Christmas!!! I have been using it all day. I LOVE it. But I can't zoom in. It won't let me. At one point, a message appeared saying something about the battery and zoom. Do I have to take out the battery to get the zoom to work?

My camera (the one in the video), in the video function, the recording just black out. The screen turns black and later the video is a "bad file". Also, how do I get to the jump shot and my LCD screen on the back does not shut off after the front LCD screen is selected. The DIS also does not work well for me.

Does this camera only take samsung Micro SD cards? Also, every other photo always turn out blurry. I was only able to turn on the DIS in the beauty shot function. Will it still work in the smart auto? Also, the smart auto's function on mine is only the size change. Did I get the right one?

i had a problem with the smart filter, i couldnt seem turn it on after i had messed witht the settings and what i figured out was that you cant use the smart filter if you have the face detection on ! you need to turn off the the face detection then you can use the smart filter !

some how i turned off the smart filter while taking photos and now i cant turn it back on, i go to MENU then SHOOTING then SMART FILTER. When i try to go to the smart filter it just goes back to the main photo display screen and the smart filter still says off. Can you help me please ?

Just bought this camera yesterday and I'm loving it so far!! Colors are very vibrant without being overly bright. Hoever, my Canon Power shot camera takes more crisp pictures as it captures a bit more details than this one. The key thing in this camera for me is the child mode with the little cartoons. My son has high funtioning autism and this seems to do the trick to get his attention to look at the camera! Great little camera though!

@seameybeag i didn't actually try this camera. however, i do have one that is by samsung and always has the dual view. i've used that one at concerts & the audio is great. i have some videos on my channel that you can see. the only issue with that one is that when i zoom, it cuts the audio. but other than that, it's great. if you try out this one, let me know how it goes!

@eybigeyl Really? Let's try it again. PL120 has 4 shooting modes. Smart auto/Program/Scene/Movie. The smart filter is only work in program mode. Go 'Program' mode, and then press the 'Fn' button on the camera. You can find the smart filter on the menu. Hope you find the key feature. Good luck!
