@SerraAngelDK Fine tuning is deals with a number of different factors. For example, people who say that earth was created by a god can point to certain factors. 1) Goldilock Zone. Earth unlike Venus is far enough for liquid water to exist, not too hot like venus. Mars is so far that water is frozen. But earth is in the right spot (Not too hot and not too cold). 2) Or without the moon, earths rotation would be off. Seas would rise, season will be off. It would be hard to support life
@DubGongTuff so correct if im wrong... But a very strong argument against whould be that no matter where life take you, you can always look back and say the chance for me being where i am today is 1 to ifinity. i also thought the thing about fine tunning is that troughout history christians have changed their opinion when god have interferied so to speak i mean 500 years ago everybody thougt that the earth was nothing more than 10000 years old and today they say bigbang was god starting it all?
@DubGongTuff is that also a part of fine tuning they just keep on changing there belif as science get stronger and prove they are wrong or is it only the thing you talked about ?
@SerraAngelDK Well that's a point that hitchens often makes. If you look at his debate with Frank Turek in Virginia, Turek brings up molecular forms in nature (structure of DNA) and uses that to point to a god or designer. Hitchens often responds that religion went on for so long without this knowledge and when science finds these structures/answers, religious people usually just say "our good is more clever than we thought." The point is religion will never find answers, science will.
@SerraAngelDK this is a summary of fine tuning youtube.com/watch?v=uY7iCkK2Kqw if you want a better explanation watch Dr. William Lane Craig's full videos on the Teleological Argument which will amaze you.

I think in his own very subtle way, Christopher Hitchens is saying...
Merry Christmas!
Me: Bah Humbug!
